Services
6ft Large surface planer professional sanding and finishing custom styling adding logos or photos to any piece of wood. If you have a log that you want cut we can do so. We just require that you bring the log to our shop. We can cut up to maximum of 6 ft wide, minimum of 4 ft long if i can clamp it (6 is preferred) and up to 20 ft long.

We have a resident artist on site ready to help you with your metal needs. We configure many types of metal bases and have them available at the shop ready to be applied to your slab of choice. Any other design you have in mind we are more than happy to give you quote. It is typically charged by time and material.
We have a CNC machine on site. With an automatic tool changer and 4th axis lathe to tackle any job you like. This piece of equipment will surface and flatten slabs 4x8 perfectly, carve in your favorite quote or precisely lathe a leg to your specifications. Love my table from Eco Friendly Lumber. I originally just bought the material and was going to finish myself, but after some unexpected splitting occurred they finished the job for me. Very nice and easy to work with. Excellent work. Wish they were a bit more communicative as my table was done for a couples weeks and I never received a call or email. Over all would highly recommend them.

Worked with me for a quarter of the year just to make sure my product was exactly what I needed for my Eagle Scout Project! As for their customer service, they sure put the Friendly in Eco Friendly Lumber! Wasn't ever treated disrespectfully when I was unsure of things and was greeted with a smile.

Twice now a customer and I’ll certainly be back for more. Had a custom dining table and a desk commissioned and they’re both gorgeous. Derek is a great dude, super collaborative and delivers quality work.
The dining table is maple with custom legs. The desk is poplar with auto legs by Uplift.
A visit to EFL is very much worth your time and Id argue a better cost and value for anything you’ll find at another store. Truly a hidden gem.

Got a custom desk built from these guys. I would see all their work all over Northern Virginia at Bars, breweries , and wineries. Had to reach out to Bud and his crew. We came, picked out what we wanted, gave them measurements, and was done in just a week. Great work and detail, these guys are good at what they do.

My kind of sawmill... No frills, good people, and an excellent job. Russell spoke to me on the phone a day earlier and stopped what he was doing to help me with a difficult cut job on a piece of cedar. It came out perfect! He was patient as I figured out how to get the most out of the tree. I'll definitely be back.
