In 1958 our name was changed to Puget Sound Texaco Federal Credit Union. In June of 1988, Seattle Texaco Credit Union merged with our credit union. When Texaco merged with Equilon, the new credit union name became E. E. Federal Credit Union. In 2002, the refinery changed to Shell, and the credit union name had to change again.
If the account were to drop below $500, it would revert to the Youth Share account and rate. PSRFCU offers Online Banking to give you more access and control over your accounts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Manage your money from any Internet-enabled computer when it's convenient for you. Minors need an image of their birth certificate and Social Security card, and new members over 18 need a copy of their driver's license or ID card.
Current Shell PSR Employees, Retired Pensioners or Annuitants, Long-term Contractors, USW Local 12-591 members, and Immediate Family Members of those listed, as well as Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union, are eligible to join. To complete your membership, we will need a copy of your ID, your signature card signed, and $50.

It’s incredibly rare for businesses to truly care about their customers, but Darene and everyone at the Credit Union have always gone above and beyond for us. They truly care, and that’s why so many people are loyal to them. That’s why my grandparents were members, and my parents are members, and my kids are members now too. Thank you, Darene, for always going that extra mile - making house calls at 7pm in the rain! and running documents to FedEx on your lunch break! - and everything else over the years.
