Our shop is located at the North East corner of University and Country Club drive in beautiful, downtown Mesa, Arizona. We are open Monday through Saturday 12-9. Sunday from 12-7 pm and welcome walk-ins as well as appointments. We take pride in every tattoo, from small sunflowers to full body suits.
The artists' styles range from Bold Traditional, to new school Graffiti. We have 14 artists with distinctive styles so you can choose the artist you're comfortable with. We have Millions of designs to choose from or your artist can create an original, one-of-a-kind piece. We can also repair, re-color or cover old faded tattoos.

For our piercings, we feature the highest quality of 316LVM grade sugical stainless steel or titanium. We also offer a nice variety of other metals and gemset jewelry. We have a wide variety of aftercare products available for purchase that will aid in the healing process. Your piercer will discuss the procedure and prescribe what is best for you to use for your particular piercing.

A proper environment should consist of a clean, hygienic atmosphere. A swap meet, nightclub or someones' house is not an acceptable environment to get work done. All surfaces that could possibly come into contact with bodily fluids, such as tattoo chairs, table, work surfaces and workstation should be made of a nonporous material.

Javi did an incredible job on a super detailed fine point tattoo for me. I was super impressed with how amazing the tattoo looks and how little time it took him. I will definitely be going back to Javi for any other future tattoos. The shop itself also has a super cool style and vibe.

Great experience. I emailed earlier this week about getting some lettering done on the side of my neck. Brooklyn reached out to me right away about getting me connected with an artist and scheduled. Came in today to work with Unkl Rob. Gave him my idea, he drew up a few designs for me to choose from. I picked one and we got to work a short while later. I love the piece and already referred a few friends. I'll definitely be back.

I got my belly button peirced here and they did a good job. i came back and got my septum nose piercing and they pierced it too low. it still went through the squishy part and healed right but it wasn’t in the sweet spot at all. i don’t like how my spectrum jewelry hangs so low and i still can’t find one that sits right with me

I had a great experience at Urban Art. Cecilia was my artist and she did not disappoint! She took a sketch I had and was able to make it better then the original. My tattoo turned out great. On my 18th birthday, I got my first "real" tattoo at 'Sage's Urban Art' on Main st. This was 20 years ago. And over time, as life goes on, a lot of things changed… But the one thing that consistently stayed the same was the quality of work I got from Urban Art. I've had many, many, MANY tattoos from numerous shops and people. James has always consistently been the BEST! The numerous times I've seen James his work has excelled!! He has always pushed himself to become a better artist and person!! He honestly is my hero! For my 38th birthday this year, James rescued me from a serious tattoo nightmare

I hate to leave a negative review however I went in to get a simple matching tattoo with someone and called to get the shop minimum, I was told $50. I came in with a simple design all line work no shading or color or any other additions and was charged $140!! The artist Rob did not show us the design before putting it on our skin and even had the nerve to be upset when we asked to move spots. It was extremely uncomfortable experience and i was charged a RIDICULOUS amount of money for just lines and text!!!!!! Horrible experience and definitely would not recommend!

I went here to Urban Art | Tattoo Studio for a walk to receive 5 piercings. They were my upper lobes(both ears), industrial, helix, and nose piercings. Lori, the piercer, she did an AMAZING job! She's efficient, quick, and for those who may be a little unnerved, she's comforting as well! My experience was intense, because of all the chemicals running through while getting so many people piercings at once. She is on point with the quickness and moved from each one to the next, in a swift and efficient manner. Her reputation precedes her for sure as I can truly see she had been trained

I've never been a big tattoo girl, so I began my tat journey with a small butterfly from another studio. My Urban Art Artist is Christine, once I explained what I thought I wanted, she recommended a cover up, a redo and I went for it! She came highly recommend by a few friends, so I knew she was the right one to transform my tattoo into something super special. I've been back a few times and each visit she produces something better than I ever imagined. Every ounce of this tattoo has significant meaning to me and Christine has done a beautiful job designing, creating, expanding, and executing

First, the young lady at front desk was very polite and personable. Also, I've gotten two tattoos here myself. My husband and sister-in-law got one together too. MY husband is getting another tattoo today!! Rob is our go-to guy. He is very polite. He is good with customer service. And most importantly Rob does an excellent job with his tattoo art work!! We just went Urban Art to get my six year old niece's ears pierced for her birthday. Karla was beyond amazing. You do need to bring a birth certificate to verify you are able to give permission and Karla verifies with the child that they want their ears pierced.
Once that's completed she walks you through the whole process and is incredibly thorough, kind, and talented. The entire staff was warm and accommodating.
If you're looking to get a child's ears pierced this is the place to go. Unlike Claire's the process is sanitary, less painful, and the staff are professionals

All of the staff were great. We went to Karla for ear piercing, she was so patient & understanding with my hesitant 13 yr old. I appreciated all of the education & advice during our visit. Everyone was appropriate & respectful of my daughters age. Everything was clean and sterile for her piercing :)

A friend recommended this shop to me, but I've received no feedback on my requested unique sketch. Lori has tried to help remind Rob to call and email me an update no less than 6 times over the last 3 months. Rob never called or emailed me. Eventually Lori did not respond to my follow up email. So I'm moving on. Everyone is very friendly over the phone. Shop looked clean.
