We do not have a rotation, and you ultimately get to pick the artist you are most comfortable with.
We take a lot of pride in all the work we do, and respectfully all Artwork is started once your appointment is made. Remember you chose our studio and each respective artist based on their artwork and/or recommendation. Please be patient and enjoy the art process. We encourage you to thoroughly look at portfolio's, each artist has a unique and distinct style, not every artist is capable of every style tattoo.

Christy, our beloved cat, who we rescued from abandonment 9 years ago, was diagnosed with cancer. Ever since she passed, I've wanted to get her perfect paw print tattooed on my arm. Yesterday I FINALLY did it! I went to Hotrod Tattoo, downtown Chandler because they had a "5" star review. Chuy, the artist that I chose was very friendly, made me feel comfortable, explained everything, was patient with me, and was vey professional. I would definitely recommend Hotrod and Chuy!! The receptionist was very kind and took good care of me since it was my first tattoo at 62!

I took my daughter here to have her ears pierced and it was the most amazing experience! We had Colleen who could not have been any more awesome. She was absolutely fantastic with my daughter and explained every step to her. She asked her and I both if we had questions. She made the whole experience just fantastic. And she did a great job too, let's not forget to mention that :) She was very professional, clearly experienced and kept everything very clean and sanitary. I'm so glad when my daughter looks back at her first piercing experience it will be with this in mind. Hot Rod Tattoo

I recently had to cancel an appointment with Matt at Hot Rod Tattoo which was a 4 day notice. I was told that they needed a week notice or they would keep my deposit. I told them if they were to take my deposit I would go somewhere else. We made another appointment and then tonight the owner and artist sent me this.

Had my first tattoo EVER done last night at Hotrod Tattoo. What a fantastic experience from first interaction with the front office team to the actual tatting.
I wanted something very simple as a daily reminder. (See photo.) I was thankful that nothing seemed too small for them to tackle. I was a bit intimidated after seeing the beautiful art coming from here and all I wanted was simple text. But wow! Great service from the customer service to interaction with Jesse Kube, who did my tattoo.
The room was pristine, comfortable and private! I had pictured a room full of artists work together on

We took our 8 year old daughter to Hotrod to get her ears pierced. We chose Hotrod due to their reputation and because they use a needle instead of a piercing gun. Colleen was incredible! Her patient and gentle approach put my daughter completely at ease and ensured her experience was extremely positive. Colleen was so caring throughout the entire process. Her treatment of our daughter was absolutely amazing! We all left feeling very grateful for Colleen's kindness and our wonderful experience at Hotrod.

I was very impressed with Shay Milford's work on this tattoo. It had been 15 years since I got a tattoo and this one was a coverup. I'm not particularly proud of the original so I won't post it here, but Shay met with me for a consultation and really tried to get a good idea of what I wanted. He was professional and listened to me. During the tattoo, Shay continued to be professional and very focused on his work; a true artist. Very detail oriented and definitely takes pride in his work. I will definitely come back for my next one and see Shay!

I was scared and asking a million dumb questions. He answered them all patiently and without judgement, even making me laugh at times.
He refers to himself as "The lightest hand in the valley" and he wasn't lying. This was not my first, or even second tattoo, but it was my least painful of them all.
I'd like to thank Shay for making a stress-inducing activity less stressful and even enjoyable at times.

I was a little reluctant to leave this review, but after I shared my experience with several friends and colleagues, they thought that I should share it with a wider audience. I always do my best to be fair with my reviews.
First, let me say that this place is very clean and the staff behind the counter were very professional and friendly. I was greeted immediately each and every time I entered the shop. My husband and I wanted to get our wedding date in Roman numerals. We saw that Jesse does really good line work so we wanted to book the appointment with him. When you first walk in the shop is very nicely decorated. Since we were doing lettering there were so many fonts to look through to finally get one that we wanted.
The day of our appointment Jesse was really quick at doing both of our tattoos.
The reason they're not getting a full 5 star even though we both really liked our tattoos is because I think they were a bit over priced. Neither one of our tattoos took an hour to do. Mine

I got a tattoo the other day at Hotrod Tattoo by Mario Lowman. I got an estimate through email and the receptionists were very nice and helpful. I included a picture of what I wanted but told them I wanted Mario to redraw it and add his artistic expression. I was so excited to have Mario do my tattoo that I didn't mind waiting over a month and a half for an appointment.

Super great experience. Very professional when I came in to check it out. Front office staff was able to tell me the process and were able to consult (based on pictures) and provide an estimate via email. We set the appointment and paid a deposit (also via the phone) to work with Mario, based on his portfolio.
The shop very clean, and Mario was the consummate professional, answering all my husband and I's stupid questions while maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
I have very dark skin (African American) and his black work was amazing and works well with an already existing tattoo

The tattoos here are done by artists in the greatest sense of the word. They are innovative and their work is breathtaking. Their collaboration and support of each other was apparent and each artist seems to have a passion and a drive to continually develop their skills. They provide a digital portfolio in the lobby displaying work by each artist. I chose Brian Hall to do my tattoo because I really like the aesthetic quality and detail of his style. Got my first tattoo done here by Dana Iskendirova. She was awesome to work with and does beautiful work. We scheduled 5 hours for a first session and finished it all at once. I don't have other artists to compare her too but I definitely would like to work with her again.
Shop was run very well front desk was quick and efficient and easy to deal with coordinating appointments and reference photos.
