Services
At Elica Health Centers (EHC), we are committed to providing quality health care services, emphasizing prevention, wellness, health education, and disease management, which improve community health outcomes.

In partnership with other organizations, EHC is dedicated to administering professional and compassionate health homes that serve the needs of low-income, multi-ethnic populations throughout the greater Sacramento area, particularly immigrant communities, including Slavic and others. To recognize the inherent worth of each person and to honor the human dignity of all persons, regardless of social status, race, ethnicity, or religious beliefs.
We are proud of our roots, which trace back to 1979 and the establishment of a small group practice that served the primary care needs of the region's emerging immigrant communities. Today, Elica stands as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), a designation given by the Federal government to community-based clinics that meet a rigorous set of requirements.
Elica offers primary and preventive health care visits, lab services, dental care, mental health services, podiatric care and case management, all of which are conveniently located, coordinated and tailored to meet the needs of our patients. With employees as diverse as the patients served, our providers and staff are committed to creating a culturally sensitive and multilingual environment.
The Elica Resource Center empowers patients (and not only, since we are ready to help anyone) by connecting them to the people, places, and resources that enable them to build healthy and full lives.

Because the natural bonds of human dignity surpass geographic, ethnic, or cultural boundaries, the Immigrant resource center believes all residents of Sacramento, Yolo and Placer County have the right for information that will enable them to become full members of society.A resource center - this is not a new idea for Sacramento, but the Elica Resource Center has one unique feature.
The main purpose of the FQHC program is to enhance the delivery of primary care services in underserved urban and rural areas; therefore, as an FQHC, primary health care with an emphasis on wellness and preventive medicine is central to our mission at Elica Health Centers. Our highly qualified medical providers typically specialize in pediatrics, family or internal medicine, which allows us to see a broad spectrum of patients.

One of the worst clinic ever. If a patient die, they don’t care. The doctors are careless and don’t provide good service and on time medication to patient. My worst experience in my life. I have diabetes and my median need to be ordered on time and it is one week that I am calling and asking for my medication but they are very careless and not referral my medication.

The receptionist came late, I arrived there on 9:20 but she arrived on 9:35 am and then she rescheduled my appointment. I tried to find a pen for signature but I couldn’t. I didn’t see any employee during 15 minutes in office.

One of the worse dental place for kids.
It was long time for me to bring my kids here but it's not the same anymore. I had appointment couple days ago at 2 pm and I waited until 2:45 but still nothing. So I went to the front desk to see what's going on. The guy in front desk was rude instead of giving me a good excuse he started blaming me because I asked him to let customer it takes long, but he told me no customer need to ask us if it's taking long.
I never had any problem before there was lady before she was nice and friendly.
And unfortunately till end he didn't told me how long would I

Giving patients hard time
I don’t know what to say, but this location is not a safe place for patients during this crisis time.
There is no social distance and no time management observed, people are doing like gathering and also for one hour appointment you need to wait more than one hour on the wait room.
All patients are complaining at this moment.
It happened to me several time but today was definitely different, my appointment was 10:00 am I have arrived 9:40 and now time is 10:50 still I’m on the wait room.
Because of your health be careful to choose the right location.

This place is negligent at best. I waited two weeks for a basic appointment to refill medication for my stomach ulcer and upon arriving they made me wait out in my car before I could come in and then told me I came in to late once they allowed me to enter the building. They then canceled my appointment and told me to reschedule and I am still without my much need medication due to their mishandling. This isn’t the first time their practice have been a detriment. Do not go to this location if you can help it.

I normally see my awesome doctors here Dr Reda and Dr Larson and the staff are pretty good "I would not say excellent" but today 9/18/18 I come in as a walk-in and I've been here since 8:20am and now is almost 10am and still waiting for a step 2 TB test to be perform. I was supposed to be at work at 8am and I know it doesn't take that long as a walk-in to do a TB test. While waiting not even one front desk staff moved a finger to see if they can help me/try to get me in if possible. I approached the window to remind them that I was supposed to be at work at 8am but I came as a walk-in to get a
