At Bella Ballet, we are more than just a dance studio. As the original dance empowerment studio, our goal is to empower our young women as a whole through their bodies, minds, and beautiful hearts.
Our goal is to not only train our students by professional dancers and provide cutting edge and age-appropriate repertoire and techniques, but to instill the values of self- confidence, leadership, inclusion, kindness, anti-bullying, and positive body image.

Each team member here at Bella Ballet gives their heart and soul to our kiddies and we couldn't be more blessed with such a phenomenal team of ladies! Hope MacDonald has been a teacher, manager, director of dance, and founder of our successful dance program for the past ten years.
She has an extensive background in business, marketing, musical theater, tap, jazz, and ballet - she gained experience through her studies at the Shenandoah Conservatory with a concentration in Musical Theater and Dance.Hope has coached a local poms squad and is a collegiate poms competition judge.

These are challenging times for everyone, and we're doing everything we can to ensure you and your child are as safe as possible at Bella Ballet. I'm not much for reviews, but after the experience I've had here I just thought it was deserved. I am blown away by these woman and there seemingly unwavering attempt to not only make ballet fun but the way they treat the parents and kids is unreal. Bella Ballet is much more than a dance studio--It is an absolutely magical world where little girls feel like princesses and kids of all ages learn self-respect and respect for others. My daughters have grown from shy, uncoordinated girls just having fun jumping around on a stage in tutus to legit dancers--I am amazed how much their skills have developed each year! Ms. Hope runs the studio with a firm, well structured, yet always incredibly loving hand and heart. My kids adore her, but to be honest ALL of the teachers at Bella Ballet are phenomenal. First impressions are everything, and our first impression of ballet and dance studios has been nothing short of awesome with Bella Ballet. My four year old can’t wait for Tuesday afternoon, smiles from ear to ear and loves showing off her new moves. It’s fun, interactive and organized in a way that everyone has a chance to shine. We’re so happy with our choice!

This is my daughter's third year at Bella Ballet. Ms. Hope and all of the teachers are wonderful with the children! They focus on building confidence and having fun. My daughter always comes out of class with a huge smile on her face and especially loves the story time and dress up at the end of each of her classes. I also love all that Ms. Hope does to give back to the community.

Isabella is in her 4th year at Bella Ballet and we love every minute of it. She started in the mommy and me class and is now in her first year of traditional ballet and tap/hip hop. She loves all the teachers and loves getting her groove on. Bella Ballet is all about building little girl’s confidence and letting each girl shine in their own way. Next year mini Bella’s here comes Izzy! Hope you are amazing and an inspiration to us all.

Bella Ballet is a fantastic dance studio! The teachers are wonderful and make every student feel comfortable and confident. The studio space is inviting and fun. Miss Hope and the Bella Ballet team truly put so much heart into all they do for the students, families, and community. They have created such a supportive and nurturing environment, one that promotes kindness and celebrates each child's individuality, and my daughter has loved every minute of her five years there.
