How do you know you need a Bartholin Cyst Treatment? The Bartholin glands are located on either side of the labia, surrounding the vagina. The organs are very small and produce fluid that moistens the vaginal area through the Bartholin ducts. At Dr. Susan Fox's Center for Women, it is usually recommended that patients have a Bartholin cyst drained.
At Dr. Susan Fox's Center for Women, we stress the importance of routine examinations to all of our patients. Regular pap smear exams are crucial in ensuring the overall health of any woman. These tests can detect different forms of cancer early on, allowing treatment to begin before the cancer has a chance to progress and worsen.
If you have taken a pap smear that has shown abnormal results, our professionals at Dr. Susan Fox's Center for Women may recommend that you have a colposcopy procedure done. This procedure examines the cervix, vulva, and uterus more closely in order to identify potentially cancerous areas. This procedure is very low risk and merely serves as a method to diagnose symptoms and take a biopsy to examine if needed.
Endometrial Biopsy (EMB) collects a small sample of the endometrium in order to detect any issues or complications. The endometrium is the inner tunica mucosa found inside the uterus in which embryo is implanted during pregnancy.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I originally started coming here because its where my mom has been coming lately and in all seriousness this place is like a factory. They have you in and out in the quickest yet slowest pace ever. You'll receive an appointment time and still not be attended till way later. Once you're in, they exam you quickly and out the door you go. I have never even seen Fox, it's always her nurses taking care of the patients. They don’t even have a doctor’s chair in the consultation room to sit down to get to know the patient. Both “drs” stand up in the consultation as giving you a hint to get to the point FAST. If you are not pregnant, you are not important, thus, only given two options, the yearly Pap Spear or birth control WITHOUT first checking your hormones to see what’s really going on and if you are even suitable!

Don't come to this clinic. Dr. Susan has no time for you. You pay to see her and not her nurses. The receptionist is very rude. She spent my money and did not solve my problem. Wish I would've read the reviews before making an appt. Definitely don't recommend this office. They rescheduled multiple times. The doctor took forever to come inside room for a yearly check up , barely answered any questions and left room w no guidance afterwards, nurses had no bed manner and were rude. Will be switching providers as they are unprofessional , unaccommodating and definitely don't feel like spending my healthcare money with poor service.

My last three experiences in this office have been a nightmare. I've come to this office three times for an ultrasound and each time has been canceled for a different reason. I've use time off of work for a complete waste of time and very unprofessional environment. I think Dr. Fox is an amazing doctor however her staff is very rude unprofessional and uneducated. I typically don’t like to make negative reviews but I have been coming here for over a year and in that time I have been consistently disappointed by the service I have received from the West Kendall location specifically. It is next to impossible to even schedule an appointment and when you do manage to schedule one you wait for over an hour for the physician to only talk to you for 5 minutes AT MOST. There seems to be no regard for the patients time and well being at this facility therefore I have decided to find a new GYN.

This place is a disaster! They’ve left me on hold for several minutes(30 something mins to be exact) to then hang up or they simply don’t know anything about my history or what they’re talking about!!! It’s impossible to get a hold of them, even if it’s urgent. Last time I was there I waited 4 hours to be seen, and the whole time no one even knew why the doctor had requested a sonogram. I have been assisting to Kendall office for the last 6 years and everything have been working fantastic for me. Every appointment with them gets worse and worse. The first time, I waited about 2+ hours. I came back to get a shot and the front staff rolled their eyes and complained because I came in at 4:45pm. The nurse who put the shot did not do a good job as my arm was bruised and sore for more than a week. She also complained about having a client so late in the day. I did a pap smear and got a treatment that charged me three times more than what I usually pay them. The doctor did not educate me on the issue I am having and I am still confused as to what went wrong with my pap smear. They make appointments

I've been going to this office for the past 13 years and the level of customer service has decreased immensely. They do not allow spouses to join appts. due to covid, however the office does not do temp checks or have all patients wear mask..how does this make sense? A typical visits waiting time is about 1.5 hours and you are seen by the doctor for less than 5 minutes, you feel as if you are just another number and not a patient. My wife had an appointment set for this gyno, when she arrived and was told to check in waited an hour and a half and no appointment was ever in the books for her. 5 patients were seen before her because of their lack of accountability. After finally going into the room to be seen they refilled her birth control prescription. Then they refused to examine her (pre-COVID) saying there was no cause for it. They did a breast exam and then advised her she should be tested for STDs. She did not want to be tested because she had no concern. The nurses insisted on her getting tested and yet still refused

This practice has always been very chaotic and unorganized. I did see Dr. Fox a few times but never liked her personality, not sure what it was, it never grew on me. I always felt she was behind on new research and noticed she wasn't very sensitive on certain matters. I saw Dr. Runyon more often, he had his brilliant moments and other times it was like it wasn't the same person. He sure is an odd cookie. I had been attending this gynecologist for years! The wait has always been long and most of the staff not very friendly. My final decision in leaving was when they referred me to take an HSG test and told me my insurance wouldn't cover it. When I went to do the procedure it turned out they did cover this office just did not take the time to prepare an authorization form, and they wanted my primary doctor to do it even though they requested the procedure. This is the most unprofessional and unorganized doctors office I've ever experienced. God forbid you have a serious issue, no one takes it seriously. They are notorious for not returning calls, making patients wait for countless hours without being seen, and failing to call in refills on prescriptions.
