Kitchen counter tops made from quartz are actually man-made stone products. Quartz it is composed by mainly by crushed crystal quartz and granite powder, polyester resins. Other materials, such as colored glass, coloring agents and UV absorbents are also mixed in. There are many manufacturers of Quartz counter tops, some of the most popular are Caesarstone, Silestone, Zodiaq, Viatera, MSI Q Premium.
Quartz typically is less "busy" than granite and offers solid colors. However, as quartz have become more popular, there are many options that mimic the "natural" look of granite. Granite: A natural stone, comes straight from nature from quarries all over the world.
Granite is very resistant to heat, stain and scratch as well, but because it is natural stone and each kind might react differently to chemical products and substances used in the kitchen, its is recommended to be sealed.Most granite will only have to be sealed once a year. Sealers are progressing their lifespan every year and there are sealers available that would last 25 years.

They Installed a countertop I had never even seen! And if your a female please don't waste your time talking to the (insert many explicit words here) owner they have! I picked out a dark countertop and ended up with a white and grey one. And trust me, I have e-mails discussing the one and only countertop I looked at. DO NOT go here!! I never write reviews, but I don't want others wasting the kind of money we did by going here! Picture one is what was installed. Picture two is what I had picked out.

This is the second time we have used Express Granite and each time we have been extremely happy with the work and the end result. The staff has been nothing but helpful throughout the entire process.
