Everyone experiences times when they feel lost, overwhelmed, or significantly unhappy in their lives or relationships. Using a caring and collaborative approach my aim is to provide a safe refuge in which to explore your feelings, thoughts, and experiences. Together, we can find a meaningful direction for this time in your life, develop skills for managing life's challenges, create a positive and realistic outlook, and build healthy relationships with yourself and others.
Services
My clinical approach draws mainly on Emotionally Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Positive Psychology, Mindfulness Training and Family Systems Theory. I obtained my MA in Clinical Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in Orinda, CA in 1982, a Certificate of Advanced Training in Brief Family Therapy in 1983, and Licensure as a Marriage & Family Therapist (Lic.#19874) in 1984.
My private fee for individuals, couples, and families is a sliding scale from $100 to $120 determined in the first session. EAP Services generally require a prior authorization. First obtain the authorization from the EAP customer service representative. After you have scheduled a first session with me contact the representative and ask him/her to email or mail me the written authorization.
