My mom and I wanted matching Hawaiian flower tattoos. Mike was great! We came in one day and asked all our questions and he was so nice to answer them all then we came back the next day for our tattoos. We had a great experience i would recommend the shop and Mike!!

Fantastic small parlor with a nice group of people. I wanted a last minute tattoo while I was on vacation and they really went out of their way to fit me in within 24 hours. You may need to call a few times to get someone on the line (I called twice about an hour a part). Once they answered they got me on the books and scheduled with Jeremy.
Jeremy was awesome! He was extremely friendly, welcoming, and a fantastic artist. He was able to take the concept I was looking for and put his own artistic flair on it. He was pleasantly conversational and efficient while doing the work; and reasonably priced

Stopped in to make an appointment to have my ears pierced an appointment as needed but the owner was very friendly and already had guest waiting for him outside his door.
The shop is impeccably & tastefully decorated with all different kinds of tattoos apparently he can do everything, or has people ready to.

My husband & I wanted a permanent souvenir from our first real vacation together. We had looked up a couple tattoo places before coming to Waikiki. We went in and talked with Tattoo Mike, and decided to go with him. He listened to what we wanted, we left excited for our appointment. We really like how laid back, friendly & easy going Tattoo Mike was. We felt completely comfortable the whole time. We love our tattoos! Will definately recommend 434 Tattoo shop to anyone wanting a tattoo. Who knows we might be back just to get more ink!

I've been going to Adam for years now and I can say that his work goes beyond expectations. I have a Japanese theme on my body and always get compliments on the detail and clean line works. Adam is extremely professional and displays patience when working with people. Parking is very convenient, you can park up the ramp next door to his shop for $3 every 2 hours. I wholeheartedly recommend Adam and his team if you are looking for quality and custom tattoo work!

I came in with a generic photo and Michael fit me in, listened /interpreted what I wanted and did an amazing unique piece. Better than I could have ever asked for or described . First off major thanks to Akio for his work! He really did an amazing job on a free-handed tattoo knowing only what I told about the meaning. When I say trust the artist, really trust the artist. He made improvements on the spot on my tattoo during the sketch phase and it looked far more beautiful than before. 3 hours later and I can't stop looking at my tattoo and how beautiful it is. Akio thank you once again I'm definitely coming back!

Ok, so skip to the next paragraph for the actual review. Continue reading if you want to know the background story (lol). A friend and I were in town on vacation for Labor Day weekend & we had this great idea to get tattoos before we left. In hindsight, we probably should have made reservations prior to that weekend, but alas such is life. Anyway, we obviously wanted to wait until the last day to get our tattoos because we didn't want to be limited on beach/water time because we had this new ink on our skin. For my first one, I had gone to see a calligrapher to have a few characters written by brush. I took this writing to Adam and let's just say I was very happy with the finished product. It had the effect I wanted - to look like it was practically brushed onto the skin itself.
It took me a little while to figure out what and how I wanted my second one to be. I have a thing

I hate to leave one star but my picture will speak for itself. My boyfriend and I wanted King and Queen of hearts tattoos on our wedding finger. Not only is my Q not the same as the Q on a deck of cards but my heart is only half full (go figure) he free handed it but assured us it would be the same. For $160 for two little tattoos, I'm extremely disappointed. However it is a lifetime touch up for free but what good is that if you don't live there, so idk maybe better for locals.

My husband and I got tattoos before leaving Oahu (my second, his first). His tattoo is amazing. He came in with an idea and Tiff really latched onto it and worked hard to make the stencil amazing. Adam talked to my husband about the style of tattoo (Hawaiian versus Polynesian) and created the perfect blend of shading and darkness. Seriously a gorgeous tattoo. The price is fair, the work was great, the space was clean, the shop workers friendly.

Great job. Spent several years looking for the perfect running design. After a few revisions and last minute changes by me, the tattoo artist Adam was able to take my vision and nail the design. 27.2 on forearm which is easy enough but the detail in a medal Adam completed was just awesome.
Aftercare instructions were thorough and staff was nice. No issues.
