While the name, location and look of the credit union is relatively new, CWCU is endowed by a rich heritage, combining over 125 years of proudly serving the communities of Stevens Point, Whiting, and Plover. Since the merger, we have expanded our charter, which now includes all who live or work in Portage, Wood, Waupaca, and Marathon counties.
If you are signed up for Online Banking, why not have your monthly statements emailed to you each month? That gets you out of the paper shuffle, eliminates statements laying around for others to see, and there is nothing to shred when it comes time to dispose of them. Answer: You bet they are! You can also print hardcopies if you wish.
Looking for the convenience of automatic bill payment, but don't want to give a company access to your account? Why not try our Online Billpayer! Once a business is set up in Billpayer, it's available each month: no need to re-enter the basic information, just select the business, enter the amount to pay and when.
Central Wisconsin Credit Union offers free Debit cards for checking accounts. Debit cards provide you the ability to access money in your checking account at any ATM machine or make point of sale purchases at many stores and retailers - no more need to carry cash or a clumsy checkbook. For those with just a savings account, we offer ATM cards, which you can use to access your savings at any ATM machine.

Whether you decide to deposit just a portion with Payroll Deduction or your whole paycheck with Direct Deposit, we will be sure to get your money where it needs to go.
