Rent A Friend Labor Services is a small Arizona based company. We service primarily the East Valley including Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, and Scottsdale. I am a one person company who has been in business for over 12 years. Previously I did full service moving and had a small crew of employees.
However this year I am shifting my focus and heading in a new direction! Got trash, debris, bulky items, dead appliances, storage units, or anything you want to get rid of? I can help with that too! I bought a love seat at a Thrift Store and needed someone to pick up and deliver. I called and spoke to John. I told him what I needed and he gave me a price. He was busy and said he would call me back. He did call me back unlike so many others. He went and picked up the love seat and he also took the old one to dispose of it. Friendly and courteous service. I would definitely use him again.

I got ripped off I cannot recommend John-he kept all of my designer handbags, designer clothes,oscillating fans and appliances.He told me to leave while he was taking all of my clothing and handbags. He broke the closet doors off the tracks and broke the steel off of the laundry room doors. He also took plants outside of my condo that were never supposed to be taken. I felt John took tremendous advantage of me and my property . He probalby will sell to flea market and make thousands.He then decided to not finish my job and left after taking all of my belongings and leaving me high and dry. I definitely

John went above and beyond for a VERY reasonable price!! My husband and I just moved in and neither of us is very handy. John came (the SAME day I called him!!) and put together some furniture for us and hung a few small items. He is very knowledgeable, efficient, and charges an unbeatable rate! The next day my husband was attempting to out a desk together that turned out to be a bit out of his scope. I texted John and he came the very next morning and got the whole thing put together in only an hour's time! I can't recommend John enough! He's great and we will absolutely be utilizing

John is the best! He is always the first person I think to call and is always willing to fit me in and work with my schedule. His price is great and he will come with all of your moving needs.. truck, pads, etc. If you don't mind helping him then I highly suggest giving him a call with your moving needs.

John the Owner literally went the extra mile to take care of business with our situation.
My wife and I bought some furniture in Glendale AZ.
The store would not deliver the furniture because we are 375 miles away.
We called many places to get prices for a delivery. ( ( EVERYONE WAS CHARGING TOO MUCH ))
When finally John answered the phone and gave us great news .
John offered to take the furniture to the UPS FREIGHT DIVISION to save us money .
(( We never thought of that GREAT IDEA ))
We asked John if we paid more, will he bring our furniture to us.
We were afraid of possible damage to the

He showed up on time, had all the proper gear (Enclosed 24" truck, ramps, dollys, blankets, etc.) Hustled and wasted zero amount of time, and was way more affordable than the big boys. You should absolutely give him a call and get pricing. Your not going to find a better deal and it's worth your time to consider them.

JOHN WAS AMAZING! HIRE HIM!
We hired him for a studio to 1bd move and he was all over amazing. He brought the supplies and truck he mentioned and all his strength. We had boxes filled to the brim and furniture. He carried all, mostly by himself, on 4 flights of stairs total. His strength and stamina are unbelievable. With all our stuff and the 30 minute drive, it came to about 2 and a half hours of service which is $120. We added some more cause he was awesome but I believe it's optional (but highly recommended!).

John is an honest down to earth guy who is completely up front with his costs and abilities. His rates are competitive but fair for the quality of work he does.
He has a moving truck with all the right tools to take on odd jobs some of the bigger movers won't touch.
I reached out to him less than 24 hours ago to move a fridge. He was able to fit in the job quickly due to a cancellation and arrived right on time with his estimation (even with tons of rain!).
He was able to quickly move the fridge, without even a scuff on it or any wall along the way. What a pro!
We were so impressed

I had John move the last fridge I bought from one end of town to another and I knew he was the person to call again for another fridge move
John is reliable, answerers calls/texts, showed up when promised and loaded and unloaded our beast of a fridge without a glitch.
He had a big truck with a ramp and made the job look easy. When the fridge was a b#$ch to get out from it's corner, he pulled it out safely and rather impressively.
I seriously wouldn't ever call anyone else. He's a the perfect man for the job! Second time customer here, and I always refer to him when people are

I am so happy to have a guy like John to call who is not afraid of doing some hard work.
Do yourself a favor and leave John a message or keep calling him to make an appointment. He is usually hard at work and not answering calls while working so give him a chance and don't just call someone else before you have an opportunity to speak with him.
Lol.... He may sound cranky on the phone but in person he is a Sweetheart. Make sure you give him a hard time if he sounds cranky and tell him to SMILE!!!! All in all you are getting a hard worker to get

A plus service from this company. I reached out the early part of November and John got me scheduled me quick! The day of our move, he was able to move up our scheduled time. These guys meant business, they came in and moved a two story apartment to a storage unit in just about 4 hours! I think my husband and I were blown away by not only their speed but also the way they organized the unit, we definitely wouldn't have know to do it they way they did. The service was worth every cent, hopefully we will be able to use them when we move into our new home next year!
