It's just as awesome as you'd expect. Staff are exceptional and the service is second to none. I can't say enough good things about this place.
**UPDATED to add that, having experienced an incredibly small problem with the guitar I bought, Anderton's went above and beyond the call of duty to rectify and accommodate a very finicky customer! Genuinely blown away by their customer service.

The speakers I ordered were great. However the service was quite poor. After my initial online order I was contacted they didn't have two speakers in the same colour. After reluctantly accepting one black one white was told they would be shipped the next day. They were not shipped until a week later which is pretty poor for an in stock item. When phoning to see where my items were staff made you feel like an inconvenience to their day

Great experience online, over the phone and in-store. I purchase gear from Andertons all the time online but this time bought a dream guitar for a fair price and had a great time in the Guildford shop.
Would have been a perfect experience if the guitar was set up properly but also that's part of the joy of getting to know a new instrument right?

Have bought several products recently that were delivered next day, for free, with a text update on delivery time. One of these was a second hand product (which was an absolute steal) that I enquired about for more info - I got a very quick, helpful response. Excellent service all round so will happily purchase from again.

A five star for great service from Andertons and a great product - the Antelope Audio Zen Go Synergy core....what an amazing unit. It solved pretty much all my problems with previous audio interfaces. Built in DSP effects mean I don't have to worry about latency when tracking - the use of outboard effects when mixing in the DAW reduces CPU load - virtual monitoring mixer mapped to separate headphone outputs - SPDIF option allows me to utilise additional inputs and connect my guitar processor - and all that at an amazingly low price.

I live on west coast of the United States in Portland, OR and never thought I'd order a guitar from a music store in the UK. But I watch Andertons Music YouTube videos because they do great gear reviews, particularly Fender guitars. I saw a guitar in one of their videos that I really wanted. I searched everywhere in the US online stores and even checked the Fender company website looking for the specific model I'd seen on Andertons. The guys in the acoustic guitar room know their stuff and understand guitars and guitarists. I visited twice in two days to form my ideas and selected a Martin D28 Modern Deluxe, with which I am delighted. I was given 1.ACCESS and 2.TIME to investigate, as well as useful input. I only keep one acoustic guitar, but occasionally change them radically, to develop my playing and writing style.. Andertons’ patience and support is very important to me.
(BTW: I had visited another high-end store just previously who didn’t really provide any of the above. They lost a £4k sale! )

Great experience and really helpful staff. Levelle in particular was great, helpful, knowledgable and patient. I went in the store looking at multiple guitars and he went and got them for me to try out. I ended up getting a PRS SE 22 custom and it was delivered to me in perfect condition and on time. The best music store I’ve ever been to. Really do recommend going if you are looking for a new instrument
