The boutique style of the hotel offers a cozy feel of a B&B with the privacy of a traditional hotel. Private bathrooms, coffee & tea available at no charge 24/7, and modern accommodations are just some of the reasons to choose Thistledown over a traditional B&B. We currently do not have a restaurant at Thistledown but hope to again soon.

We spent a couple nights at this hotel while visiting Ligonier and the Laurel Highlands. It’s a beautiful and comfortable place to stay, with reasonable rates for a luxurious room with gas fireplace. The owners have maintained it very well, and it is immaculately clean. It’s not a B&B, as it does not have a restaurant or serve meals, but it does provide the experience of staying in a Late 19th, early 20th century-era home. Additionally, it’s a short walk to any number of cafes, restaurants, antique stores, and shops in Ligonier’s quaint downtown. There is a well-stocked coffee and tea bar

I've stayed at Seger House several times over past few years and I highly recommend it! Rooms are really nice, great beds, and the entire "House" is really interesting - I find much better than staying at a chain hotel. It is a hotel (not a B&B) with no/limited food service but location is right in town so easy walking to multiple restaurants.
