Located by the beautiful shores of Newport harbor, you can find us on the 2nd floor of the Union Bank building located on Westcliff and Doover. Our office enables us to see multiple patients in any of our multiple themed spacious exam rooms. Full x-ray capabilities allow for convenient imaging, and our waiting room will never keep you waiting long.
At Cripe Chiropractic, our Newport Beach chiropractor staff-led by Dr. Glenn Cripe, Dr. Brian Cripe, and Dr. Stephen Nakano-believe that offering our patients the highest possible level of care while remaining completely non-invasive and drug-free allows us to help people achieve true and long-lasting healing.
NUCCA stands for the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association. It was founded in 1966 by Dr. Ralph Gregory. NUCCA is based on The Restoration Principle. The practicing NUCCA doctor's objective is to restore the spine as close to vertical as possible. This process is based on correcting the misalignment factors as they relate to the head and neck.
The NUCCA technique utilizes a series of diagnostic exams to confirm if a misalignment is present. Among these, the taking of pre (before) and post (after) x-rays are of the greatest importance. On your first visit to our office a set of 3 films will be taken and later analyzed. After your adjustment, these films will be repeated, and analyzed in the same fashion mentioned before.
The first stage of spinal degeneration is when there is a minor loss of normal spine balance and spinal curvature. The surrounding features of the spine such as nerves, discs and joints begin to age quicker and are continually more stressed. This stage of the degeneration process rarely is accompanied with any major pain.

Dr Brian Cripe & Mary are amazing! I couldn’t be happier to go here. Brian is a very personable person & has been accommodating my later work schedule which I really appreciate. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first went to Cripe Chiropractic Center. I am happy to say it was a great choice. The front desk is kind and Dr. Brian Cripe has a heart of gold. Dr. Cripe went above and beyond anything I have ever experienced with any other Doctor. I had been experiencing neck pain and headaches. After my first adjustment I noticed immediate relief.
