Services
Re-Furbishing control line spools is a process we are very familiar with. With recent market downturns, the repurposing of equipment has become commonplace. We have the in-house capability of repairing, adding or removing length, and finally removing old encapsulation and replacing with new. If you are not sure if a line is salvageable, please contact us to arrange a meeting.

Mid-South offers a variety of stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, nickel, monel, and super austenitic welded and seamless tubing, depending upon the properties the tubing is required to exhibit. Other alloys and sizes available upon request.
Stainless steels exhibit excellent forming and welding characteristics, while duplex stainless steels (named for their austenite and ferrite compositions), has greater yield strength than austenitic stainless steel.Nickel alloys have high corrosion resistance and temperature strength, while super-austenitic alloys were designed to resist crevice corrosion, pitting, chloride-induced corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.

MSCL provides our customers with a wide range of TEC (Tubing Encased Conductors) design options. We can provide TEC as a standalone cable or as part of a multi-component flatpack. MSCL recommends tinned copper as it provides better protection from oxidation at temperatures > 100C. Please consult MSCL for the appropriate encapsulation product based on service temperature, pressure, completion fluids, and well environment.
TearSafe is designed to provide our customers a safe, efficient process that will protect the underlying components. Eliminates the need to remove encapsulation with heat sources to soften materials, tools, equipment, files, knives or blades. Working in a hazardous environment and introducing sharp knives and heat sources can pose additional dangers.
