This doc is the best!!! finally a dermatologist specialist who cares for thier patients and not about the paychecks, in every aspect of my life was destroyed by psoriatic arthritis, because of dr barsky, I can live a more normal life, I got my life back, a job, friends and most of all... love! thank you soooo much doc and his amazing staff he has.

Dr. Barsky was wonderful; reminded me of my dad. Made me feel very comfortable. I had a cyst removed on my forehead; took less than 15 minutes for the whole procedure including stitching. Receptionist was very nice, the nurse that assisted him was easy-going, and the wait wasn't too bad. In & out in 65 minutes.

Dr Barsky and crew are prob the nicest medical professionals around. Dr Barsky and Olana really know what they are doing and will give you options. Not only do they care about treating you properly but they also try there best to save you the most money on meds or soaps. The office is clean and calm. They got my business and soon my entire families. Thank you for taking care of all my dermo issues.

Brought my daughter in for minor bumps on skin. Was told that a “liquid” would be applied to inflamed area. Turns out it was acid. I understand that sometimes you need to use invasive treatments to cure skin problems, but I was told after acid was applied that there are less invasive treatments available. I wish I would’ve known that beforehand. Now my munchkin is terrified of the dermatologist. Which is hard because she has eczema.

His such a nice and good doctor, I honestly don't know why this office has such bad reviews, all the stuff is kind and get you in and out in no time, I would definitely recommend him. I went in because I had a bold spot in my hair and he explained everything really well on why I was loosing and my hair and what he was going to do to cure the bold spot.

Managing social distance for patients quite well for as small as his office is. Very friendly office. Dr. Barsky seems to know his job and tries to do his best for the patient. He is also very familiar with celiac disease which is a major plus for me. I'm not sure why the people who gave negative reviews had such bad experiences.

My daughter was really struggling with acne despite using different topical acne treatments.Dr.Barsky was able to pinpoint the exact problem and explained to us about many different factors that attributed to acne that we were unaware of.With his treatment she is completely acne free! He is so knowledgeable, personable and truly an amazing dermatologist!

I have seen Dr. Barsky and he removed moles from my face with no scarring. He also removed one from my back. He then saw and biopsied a mole from my 6 year old daughter. She was scared, but he and his staff were kind and funny and made her feel comfortable and he has always been a pleasure to speak with. I have had no issues with his staff, even the no-nonsense lady who runs his office.

Called to scheduled an appointment. I'm a mew patient and the chick on the phone was so rude thag I decided to go somewhere else. I'm sure the doctor is losing a lot of business because of these rude receptions he has. So disappointed. Also, if you request to schedule an appointment online, don't expect to get a call back.

I can understand other reviewers frustration with the office staff bc I have witnessed some behavior that might be construed as rude while waiting or scheduling appointments. However, when I treat and speak kindly to the staff they respond kindly as well. I think maybe they get a bit overwhelmed because it's always so busy and since they are the "front line" they get the wrath of unhappy clients.
I have also had to wait over an hour for an appointment but I myself am a medical professional so I can empathize. Sometimes emergencies happen with clients or an unexpected situation needs

I hope this review reaches the manager or Dr. Jay. Your receptionist on Saturday 8/6 was very rude to a family member I recommended call you for help with a personal medical problem they were having. I am not sure if your receptionist was having a bad day but family member was very upset with the they were talked down to. According to your other review being talked at and not to seems to be a common theme. I'll be sure to follow up this review with the doctors name we do decide to go to that treats us with respect.

I read all the great reviews and decided to pay Dr. Barsky a visit for a skin cancer screening. To be honest, the visit made me quite uncomfortable and I decided to look for another doctor that I am now happy with.
The nurse that saw me asked SO many questions, I mean at least 50 questions, all the while making some inappropriate jokes to my fiance and I. After all the questionnaire, the doctor walks in with an intern.
The doctor seemed uncomfortable with the fact that I am a woman, he didn't want to examine my private areas, when I told him I didn't mind since he's a doctor

He is a great doctor. The whole staff is great from the office to Dr. Barskys assistant. This man knows his stuff. Smart and really cares about his patients. I have been a patient of his for many years and would never dream of seeing another dermatologist. He specializes in everything from acne, to Botox, and other skin conditions. A definite expert in his field.

I am very surprised that these reviews are so poor because Dr. Barsky saved my looks and my vision. As a baby I contracted a wart virus and it was on my hands and eyelid. My mother went to several doctors and was not able to find any doctor willing to remove the wart because it was so close to my eye that if I blinked they would lazer my actual eye instead of my eye ball. However, the wart was causing my eye to close and preventing me from seeing from that eye. My mother found Dr. Barsky THANK GOD! Dr. Barsky was able to lazer the wart off no problem. He does have horrible bedside manner but I

This guy is horrible. I agree completely with the other reviewer. His bedside manner is terrible and he gives you absolutely no personal space whatsoever. He talks at you rather than to you and I felt somehow violated after going to him. He didn't seem to help me at all. I went to him for acne treatment and acne scar removal. Nothing he did helped me and it seemed like he was practicing on me with the scar removal treatment. It was horrible. I cried after every single appointment with him.
