Samobel Beauty Salon's proprietress, Latifa, is a salon industry veteran with 34 years experience. The most important thing she's learned in her years in the beauty salon trade is that connecting with her clients and magnifying their beauty from the inside out is what really counts. Latifa started her career in Morocco in the 1970's.
Once in the U.S. she served the Tysons Corner community at Suissa Salon for 13 years, creating a loyal following clients before opening Samobel Beauty Salon for Women. Latifa has a passion for design work and loves to create styles that are on the cutting edge of the industry. She helps her clients cultivate their own distinctive, artistic look, that leaves them feeling fashionable and confident.

The 1st time I went there, I knew I was going to become a regular customer.
This is a ladies only hair salon. The place is clean and bright. I was offered some coffee and tea during the service.
Latifa, the owner and her staff are both professional and friendly. I got Highlights and a haircut that time. I was very happy with the service and I enjoyed the homey atmosphere of the salon.
The 2nd time, I took my daughter, a teen, for a haircut and Latifa did a good job on her too. My daughter left the salon happy..
I strongly recommend this hair salon.

I have been living in the DC area for 14 years; I have been to different salons, which were ok, given that my hair needs a real professional. I am glad I found Latifa, a real PRO. I have always received great compliments about my hair when she does it, and people always asked for my hair stylist.
In addition to doing a great job, she genuinely cares. I asked her about type of products to use, and she would recommend some that really worked for my hair type, because she really knows hair. She also is an esthetician. She is the one who did my makeup and hair-do for my wedding.
