Services
Pope Pius X is perhaps best remembered for his encouragement of the frequent reception of Holy Communion, especially by children. The second of 10 children in a poor Italian family, Joseph Sarto became Pius X at 68, one of the 20th century's greatest popes. Ever mindful of his humble origin, he stated, "I was born poor, I lived poor, I will die poor."
Today, close to 350 students of various backgrounds attend St. Pius X and take advantage of our well-balanced college preparatory curriculum. The curriculum challenges the students and equips them with the skills that they need to excel in today's colleges and beyond. Our 2018 graduating class of 101 students was awarded 5.9 million dollars in grants and scholarships for college and earned an average composite score of 23.6 ACT test.
In 2013, the Board embarked on the drafting a new Strategic Plan with enthusiastic participation of our administration, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, parents of alumni, community and parish partners and students.
After the vision which guided the teams and the methodology in formulating this Plan was determined, eleven categories of focus were identified, envisioned states for each category created, and strategies and action plans were developed for implementation.This 20/20 Strategic Plan is an evolving process and used as a guide by the Principal, faculty, staff, the Board and its committees to help us reach our goals by 2020.

Are you retired or self employed with extra time? Are you passionate about Catholic Education? Do you have children or grand-children attending one of the Catholic schools in the Northland? St. Pius X High School is looking for part time school bus drivers for the upcoming and future school years. We provide transportation for field trips during the days, and sporting events in the afternoons and evenings.

We are committed to developing each students' spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical gifts. My husband and our four kids got a great education at St. Pius X High School. The kids were well-prepared for college, and the genuine Catholic education has been a support to their faith life. Several religious vocations have come out of SPX in recent years, and the religion teachers and curriculum are solidly Catholic--just what students in this… crazy society need to hear the truth about God's plan for their lives. The SPX community of students, faculty and office staff, parents, and alumni is like a family. This is one of those places where everybody knows your name. :-)
