St. James Academy has been an accredited school since opening in 2005. Along with all other schools in the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, SJA is dual accredited by the State of Kansas and by Advanc-Ed, an international school accrediting agency that serves over 32,000 institutions worldwide (advanc-ed.org).
My husband and I have 5 children, a son in law and daughter in law and 2 grandchildren. They are the joy in our days! I love to snow ski, play driveway basketball, pick up soccer games, shop & travel. I love all things Italian and sharing the work of the Lord in my life with others. I have been a part of the SJA community for 15 years and consider it one of the great blessings in my life.
St. James Academy in Lenexa, KS is looking for a head softball coach for the 2022 Spring Season. St. James Academy exists to pass on the Catholic Faith to the next generation and our ideal candidate should be a witness to our Catholic Faith and be able to guide our student-athletes within our school's mission.
Think of the "houses" in Harry Potter, only deeper, richer, and built in a faith-based community. We give each student a belonging. Within the Community, kids are placed in Houses with mixed grade levels and a Mentor Teacher. Nearly all activities run though our Community System as Communities compete for the annual Thunder Cup.
At St. James Academy, we believe that educating our staff, students, and school families in the teachings of the church and creating an environment where praying together and sharing our faith experiences is not only acceptable but the norm. We create an environment for young people and the wider community to grow closer to the heart of Christ.
