My name is Dr. Laurence M. Kelly Jr., I am a clinical psychologist, and I have been providing pre-employment psychological testing and fitness-for-duties since 2011. I am a member of the International Chiefs of Police - Psychological Services Section (IACP - PPS), and in my tenure, I've administered over 2,000 evaluations to police, fire, corrections, and various other federal law enforcement agencies (U.S. Customs & Border Protection, FBI).
It's not a coincidence that the definition for adolescence includes the term "storm and strife." Being a teen is hard, it's a combination of a yearning for independence, while in the same moment, feeling a crippling fear of leaving a parent's side. Both Larry and Melissa pride themselves on developing trusting and meaningful relationships with teens, which means that each clients knows they have one more person in their corner.

My son has been a patient of Dr. Larry Kelly at Ancora Psychological for 3 years due to school related anxiety. Dr. Kelly was instrumental in getting my son the appropriate educational services that he needed and took the time to attend a recent school meeting to give and receive feedback on my son's progress. My son has made significant educational gains and now has a positive outlook towards school, largely in part due to Dr. Kelly's influence. My son looks forward to his session with Dr. Kelly, who is kind, caring, and enthusiastic to help.
