Our Therapists are Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists who meet all state requirements for licensure. We have many talented people who can perform services in English, and Spanish. All of our therapists are experienced in the fields of Geriatrics, Forensics and chronically mentally ill.
We send our therapist to assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and independent living facilities. It is my feeling that we can always make a perfect match. That is facility and therapist. We appreciate our referral sources and will refer our mutual network when possible. We accept Medicare assignment, many Medicare Advantage plans, secondary insurances, many HMO's, and many Medicaid MMA Insurances.

We will always try to fit a client with a therapist that is right for them. We have expertise in many areas of Life. We will always help our clients better understand their circumstances to allow them to deal more effectively with what's troubling them.
Group therapy can be very useful when working with a number of individuals with similar issues, ex: grief, major medical issues, dementia caregivers and caregivers generally. We will try to put together a group of this kind. We can also arrange a general group, usually on-going but it can also be a timed weekly group (4-10 weeks).
If your therapist or physician feels some medication would be helpful, we consult with your family doctor or other specialists to assist in choosing the appropriate medications. This is done principally with our President who also is a pharmacist. We, of course, interface with any non-psychological medications you may be taking.
Philip Solomon and Associates will send a licensed practitioner to Assisted Living Facilities (ALF), Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Group Homes and Other Homes. Typically, the therapists visits weekly and will see individuals one to one. We can also create groups when appropriate. Helping in the management of medications is an additional service we can offer.
Studies indicate that residents under psychological care live longer and reside longer in Skilled Nursing Facilities than those not receiving psychological assistance. Residents under psychological care show better compliance with their Plan of Care with the facility including medication, therapies, dietary and activities.
