The starter went out on the Jeep and the crew here made a pretty bad day go ok. The Woman at the desk is a sweetheart and polite. She answered all my questions. The repair took a little bit longer than they said but not much. My only complaint was that I had to tow it in.

I recently did some serious damage to my car and took it to Westside. They got it in, in less than 3 days and fixed everything perfectly.
I got a new suspension, struts, and an alignment for a low cost compared to other places. They called me with exactly what was wrong and gave me a great quote. They helped out even when I had to come in late to get my car due to my work schedule.
This was my second time using their services. I will continue to do so. Thanks Westside!

Two year ago now they sold me a bmw. Right off the bat I started having problems. Now it is completely useless because of all of the salt that had rusted out the bottom. My mechanic now said it should've never been sold. That's not the only problem people I know have had here. They seem trustworthy at first but hindsight is 20:20.

Update: Sorry Westside, but for as friendly as you guys were. I had someone else come, and see if you guys let her get a rental over the weekend and you did. Then gave an over-priced value for repairs on my car, and it never was inspected. Knowing I worked at a Car place, I have ins on parts, pricing, and etc. And you guys over-charged. The parts were $200 and less, Labor was $2500. During a COVID pandemic. And I was referred. They was even shocked about the loaner vehicle situation and pricing. You in fact were not the cheapest in town and lied about loaner vehicles and never inspected my car

I had been a customer of the owner of Westside Garage before he moved on Walker. I thought I had built a relationship with them. I had great service until I bought a vehicle from them. I bought a vehicle about 2 years ago and from the start I had issues with the vehicle. About a week after I purchased the vehicle the transmission went out. Thankfully it was under warranty with Bob's Transmission who honored the warranty. Next I steering problem, oil leak problem which never was repaired correctly. Fantastic shop! I relocated to Grand Rapids over 10yrs ago and was in need of a mechanic. I was referred here and haven't gone anywhere since! I've taken all my of my personal vehicles, work vehicles, girlfriend's vehicles and referred friends who are now also regular customers. Their service here is amazing to say the least. I would never patronize this establishment after what I encountered. They have no respect for the American Flag. There is a completely torn and tattered Flag hanging out by their sign. I called and gave them them heads up and an opportunity to take it down, which they assured me they would... I drive by 2 hours later and it is still up. I'm sure they've had plenty of time to change their sign with their specials but have clearly neglected the American Flag. Don't expect business from me, my family, or friends. First, just to get it out of the way, West Side Garage pays for their reviews. Their receipt states "Receive a 10% discount for leaving a positive review on google or yelp". I'm sure not every single review was bought, but people ought to know this fact. Now my experience: I had my vehicle in for overheating issues/coolant leak and accompanied stalling problems. I brought two vehicles here and strongly felt the proprietor was shamelessly trying to up-sell and gouge me, exaggerating problems that were either non-existent or grossly overstated.
