Creosote and soot are natural byproducts of burning fuel, deposited on the inside of your chimney or flue pipe as a solid sticky, black layer that is highly flammable. This needs to be regularly cleaned from your chimney or flue pipe. To reduce build up and use fuel efficiently, keep your fires hot, and provide them with plenty of oxygen.
A properly functioning chimney has enough draft to pull smoke out of your home and provide enough oxygen for hot, complete burning of wood to occur. It is important that your chimney is the right type and style for your firebox or stove. In addition, it should be installed properly in your home in compliance with building codes and manufacturer instructions.
That's right, the Lock Top damper seals with a rubber gasket, not metal to metal like your current damper. A Lock-Top Damper seals tight, so virtually no air, and thus no heat or air conditioning gets lost up your chimney. The Lock Top also eliminates downdrafts, seals out rain which can deteriorate the inside of your chimney, and prevents entry by pests like squirrels, raccoon's, and nesting birds.
Also known as fireplace liners, flue liners, chimney flues, or flexible chimney liners. Chimney liners are the passageway in the fireplace or furnace flue through which gases (carbon monoxide) and smoke travel in order to escape your home safely. Stainless steel chimney liners separate the fireplace or the furnace exhaust from the rest of your house.

I live in Lincolnshire and I had a hard time getting somebody to come out , everybody was too busy. I called This company and was very easy to make an appointment through their software hub.
The person who came out was very kind and wore a mask and booties, And he left my house with No dust. He was very educated on fireplaces and chimneys. I’m going to refer this company to my sister.
He was a Army Veteran.
Thank you

We had just purchased our home and needed some chimney work done ASAP. I had called the bigger companies and they either charged a fee to look at the chimney and then send a different person out and/or could not get to me until the next week. I called Aumiller Chimney and Chris answered. I told him I needed him to come out the same day if possible. Chris replied with a humorous comment (you just have to understand his sense of humor) but agreed to come out the next day. He provided a written estimate of what it would cost to clean the chimney, came out and cleaned it and then gave a written estimate

I won't be using Chris again. He came unprepared without garbage bags to dispose of the ashes. When he asked for one, he said that removing the ashes wasn't really his job -- he was there to clean the interior of the chimney -- but he would do so as a "favor." Then he proceeded to tell my three year old how they used to use small children to clean chimneys and a lot of kids used to die of cancer. Yes, he got the job done, but it was not a pleasant experience.

Two and a half weeks after my scheduled appointment, I received a letter in the mail dated a week and a half after my appointment and postmarked just over two weeks after my appointment. The person who (finally) listened to the voicemail I left on the day of my appointment managed to write my number down incorrectly. hmmmm . . . more than a little slow on the follow-up means still a no go for me.
