Born and raised in Columbia, TN, we (Jim & Iris) enjoy owning a business in the community which is our home. We went to the same high school and were married in 1987. We have two daughters and started our building business over 24 years ago to help pay for their education. We have been so blessed and our business has grown over the years.
We build mostly custom homes on the customer's land. Customers can bring us their own plan or use one of ours. It may be more cost-effective for the customer to talk with us prior to spending a lot of money on a set of plans because some plans are more efficient than others. We are a family-owned business that takes pride in providing our customers with a well-built home.

Our name is on our signs and we live in the area we build in, so it is very important that we have happy customers.

I think anyone would admit that building a home has its stressful moments, but Jim was a huge help to us throughout the entire process. He is knowledgeable, cost savvy, timely, and feels like a friend you've known for years. Most of all, he helped us build the home where our kids will be raised and that is a wonderful gift. Highly recommend!

Home construction experience like no other. Jim Anderson built a custom home for me with quality workmanship, professional attitude from him and his team, and outstanding communication from beginning to end. This is my third home build and by far the best experience yet. Workers were at the property daily, nonstop until final walkthrough. Would hire Anderson Builders again in a heartbeat.

Jim and his team did a major project at our house a couple of years ago. The project included work in almost every room in our house, as well as some exterior projects. We have been very pleased with the results. Jim was great to work with throughout the project. He is a man of great integrity and is committed to doing the job right, every time!
