Services
All orthodontists must be licensed to practice, but at this time only 1 in 3 orthodontists have continued on to become a board certified orthodontist. The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) certification process signifies a unique achievement-a significant step beyond the two to three years of advanced education required for a dentist to become a specialist in orthodontics.
In 2006, my oldest of five kids came for a visit with Dr. Simi and twelve years later, our youngest daughter is approaching her final months of top-notch care from Dr. Donald Simi and his wife, Pam.
Piling in our minivan to make the half-hour trek from Franklin has been more than worth it; not only has Simi Orthodontics provided the best possible orthodontic care, but we could not be more grateful for the strong relationships that all five of our kids have built with the Simi family over the years.

The most visible benefit of undergoing orthodontic treatment is the improved appearance and self-esteem that comes from a straight, beautiful smile! It has been shown that a better appearance can help a person's academic, professional and personal success, and that one of the most significant factors of appearance is a wide, bright smile.
From the first time a patient signs-in for their appointment on our waiting room computer to the final intraoral scan of their finished smile, Simi Orthodontics uses technology to maximize the patient experience. Optional 3D imaging with cone beam CAT scan to evaluate the position of impacted teeth and airway analysis.
Orthodontic problems can affect anyone - in fact, our teeth are almost never naturally perfect. Malocclusion, or a "bad bite", can cause problems with chewing, oral hygiene, speaking and aesthetics. A bad bite can be genetic, or can be caused by thumb sucking, dental disease, poor dental hygiene, accidents, birth defects or other medical conditions.

Wonderful, caring orthodontist and staff. For my first child in braces, I went to Dr. Simi for a second opinion after feeling pressured to rush into treatment by another office. Dr. Simi gives you a thorough overview of his care recommendations and listens and takes the time to outline all procedures. I felt confident that I was making an informed decision for care for my child. Highly recommend this office.
