Welcome to Moore Vacation Rentals of Dillon Beach where we rent beautiful privately owned homes with views of the Pacific Ocean Tomales Bay and/or Bodega Bay. Dillon Beach is a beautiful area about 60 miles north of San Francisco and 100 miles west of Sacramento. The small village, where one can rest and relax, is off the beaten path.
You can also fish, clam, walk, fly kites, surf or play along a mile of safe beach for swimming, wading, or boogie boarding. You can enjoy one day trips to nearby Point Reyes National Seashore, the redwoods at Armstrong Park, the Sonoma Wine Country, Fort Ross, Bodega Bay and a variety of other interesting places.

We have been renting from Moore Vacation Rentals for 30+ years and have never been disappointed. All of the homes have been lovely - just as described with fully stocked kitchens and everything needed to enjoy a vacation at the beach. The homes are always sparkling clean and if we ever needed anything, Moore Vacation Rentals was prompt and responsive. We have referred this agency time and time again to many of our friends and will continue to do so - such an easy and pleasant experience.

Uh yeah I don't reccomend this place at all and you shouldn't go there because it's a small place and if it becomes more popular my family may not be able to come as often. ;) And we come frequently to enjoy the beach and the nice house.
It's not perfect or extremely professional, so if that's what you're looking for you may actually want to look elsewhere, But for me it feels homey, a beautiful place that's lived in enough that it doesn't feel like a horrible sin when you accidentally spill food on the counter, but its clean and put-together like any home should be.

I have rented yearly from Carolyn ever since I was able to rent on my own! My family has gone to Dillon Beach for several decades as an annual trip, and she is part of the tradition at this point! She has always been kind, prompt, and professional with me. I am never left wanting at any cabin I rent. The cabins themselves are a little rustic, but that is what I love about them. Why stay at a bland hotel when you can stay in a cozy little piece of history?

I’m extremely confused by the reviews that have been left, not to mention the fact that a majority of these negatives all seem to be from the last month. Seems quite likely an unhappy guest phoned a reviewer or two in. Shame. Btw- we were just there within the last month (Labor Day weekend) and it was an amazing stay per the norm.

We have been using Moore Vacation Rentals for over 20 years. They are responsive, their properties are clean, and they have fair pricing. There are no crazy fees like you have with VRBO and Home Away. I highly recommend them.
UPDATE: I just saw the reviews from a few others about Moore Vacation Rentals. I have NEVER been treated rudely, rented an unclean property, or had a mix-up with my reservation. I was shocked to see the rating and some of the reviews and feel compelled to write a review, something I just hadn't thought of before. We have rented through Caroline for years - referred by a friend - and have always been impressed with the service, responsiveness, kindness, quality of the rentals (we have tried several to find our favorites), ease of renting and that there are no extra fees. It is very personal, not a corporate feel, and she actually lives there. We highly recommend Moore Vacation Rentals.

We've never been disappointed!
I logged in today to check availabilities for later this month and was so sad to see such a low rating. I don't doubt that some people have had less than wonderful experiences recently, and that's sad; but I believe there must have been some extenuating circumstances. We have booked through Moore 4 or 5 times, including a family reunion using 2 large houses. We have always been treated well. We have not had a trouble communicating with Caroline at all. She is gracious, warm and easy going. Having grown up camping in Tamales Bay, I am grateful for the opportunities
