All I can say is this rent is a RIP OFF!!! They will charge you the full amount if you cancel within 24 hours and then within 2 months cant rebook your dates!! WE booked a property called Nanas House. through Jenner Vaction Rentals . They charged my debit card $798.00 2 days before Christmas and ruined our holiday!

Jenner Vacation Rental's Hummingbird Cottage review of recent stay:
We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet and relaxation of the cottage that has a great outdoor deck with lovely views of where the Russian River meets the Pacific Ocean...lots of birds and kayakers to watch. The hot tub was great, the beds were fairly comfortable as were the couches, and the shower was a good one. Behind the cottage, we got to see some beautiful cows moseying around the pasture. And, dogs are allowed, which is also great!
The place was clean and the sheets and towels were fresh and fluffy and the cottage was stocked

NEVER NEVER AGAIN! DO NOT BOOK IT!
Reasons:
1. At our arrival we did not know the code for the gate. It was NOT sent to us.
2. Additional the sent code for the lockbox was wrong. Without a signal for cell phones we had a big problem.
Luckily we met neighbours and were able to call you to get the right code.
Point 1. and 2. took us around 3 to 4 hours!!!
3. The firewood was not dry.
4. The chimney had holes.
5. The gas for the outside barbecue grill was empty so that we couldn't use it.

Update - We used them again for another house, and it was just as pleasant an experience. The website explains exactly what we are paying, and all the transactions are done through it. We got the email and house code and directions, and had a great stay. They even checked in with us the first evening to be sure we got in ok. The only unfortunate thing about JVR is that they have such a limited selection of houses - I wish more vacation rental sites worked like theirs.

Jenner Vacation Rentals are lovely. We arrived in 2010 and took the opportunity to check out several locations with friends and family to take in different views of Jenner where a river meets the Pacific. Clean, friendly and well informed staff. Well stocked kitchens with everything you need. We could host dinners at different houses different nights. The jacuzzi-es were clean and laundry facilities for washing things up to go home. Wonderful trip with just the right resources.

Stayed here recently and had a great time in Jenner and it's surrounds. The folks I worked with at the Jenner Vacation rentals were super nice and helpful. I only downgraded by one star due to the fact that we were there for four nights and we were only left one roll of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels. It simply wasn't enough and the availability of supplies around Jenner is very low. So perhaps communicating to coming vacationers that they need to bring their own paper supplies would be VERY helpful and more convenient.

I was looking for a last-minute surprise for the boyfriend for Valentine's day weekend. Literally started looking at vacation rentals all over northern California a week before I wanted to go. I found with a lot of places this was not an easy task, as many sites/owners weren't keeping their calendars updated... so it would look like things were open when they were, in fact, already booked.
