Um, I spent an hour in this store and I could have spent more. Excellent fabric selections, including some pretty unique fabric at good prices. Staff was helpful without being in your biz. Probably not a great store to bring little kids cause there's a million wonderful tiny things to touch. Plus you'll miss all the cool stuff.
Visit. Buy fabric and yarn. Shop local!

I normally don’t post reviews of places but I figured this needed to be said so people like me aren’t put in danger.
I went to Digs on Saturday and the staff weren’t wearing masks and they rushed to put them on when they saw customers entering. When checking out I asked why they weren’t wearing masks and they said that they weren’t required to when customers weren’t around– according to them this was in accordance with the governor’s masking order. Firstly, it’s not. Nowhere in the executive order does it say that. Secondly, even if MN’s executive order did permit that (again

This is the cutest shop on 38th and grand. She has all types of fabrics, jewelry, and trinkets.
The lady that works there is so nice and friendly and takes the time to help. I also brought my toddler in there, whose nickname is Diggs, and she was very patient with both of us.
I would highly recommend this place.

I very much enjoyed shopping here. The selection of fabrics is exquisite, the staff very pleasant and helpful and they have a whole section on vintage items and sewing supplies. I would have loved to take home… a vintage pair of fabric scissors, but currently there were mainly zick Zack scissors in stock. Obviously vintage items vary over time, so make sure you check it out when you’re in the store. But I found a new high quality pair of scissors that were exactly what I was looking for. I can highly recommend the store. Even if you’re not sewing or knitting, you find a wonderful

Incredibly helpful staff - I was in a pickle trying to recreate an American Girl dress for my daughter to match her doll’s dress. They had vintage patterns and the perfect fabric. The woman who works Thursdays… pored over the pattern with me and walked me through how we could recreate a 1950s dress. Without her help, I’d have made a mess of things. Love Digs!!!

I've been coming here for the past 3 Christmases because I've been trying to hone my re-usable gift wrapping skills. All the other stores like Paper Source and Michaels have glitzy, gaudy ribbon - ain't nobody want to re-use that stuff. Call me old fashion but I like a nice, classic cloth ribbon that's timeless. Digs' got the digs!

Great owner-katie, great location-38&grand, great store!! Curated very well! Digs has many other fantastic items other than fabric and yarn. I don't sew or knit and still have taken a huge interest in the inventory! It is all displayed really well and it's exciting to look around at all the things.. This is a must add to your list of local shops and boutiques!

I was looking primarily for a yarn shop in Minneapolis. The fact that they also carried quilting supplies drew me in. To say I was disappointed at the selection in both regards is an understatement. Though the space is interesting enough, and the gift selection is lovely, there is an unpleasant odor in the shop which I found a bit off-putting. In all, a very disappointing stop on my trip.

The store is cute and kitschy, but it is NOT a yarn store. It's a store that has yarn. Major difference. I went in thinking it was a yarn shop and it is not. Patterns, books, yarn, some needles? Sure. But no swift or winder and the guy working was not interested in talking to anyone or looking up from his computer. They had cute gifty things. I wouldn't frequent this place as a LYS.

Uh - I didn't think it would be possible to be this excited about a store...
I was looking for a new place to get yarn. I stumbled across this store on yelp and saw the raving 5 star reviews. I decided to give it a try.
Upon entering, the store seemed small. I noticed the local handmade items and got really excited. The prices were great and I wanted to take half of everything home. As I swing over to the right, I notice the store gets bigger. Then I see yarn.. fabric. lace.. greatness! I was so excited. I almost wanted to throw my hands in the air and run around. I was touching everything

GREAT store. It's got a lot of cool gifts like posters, jewelry, cards, buttons, lots of other things. The main focus is definitely the fabric and yarn, which can be found everywhere. The prices on yarn was a tiny tiny bit more expensive than other places I've seen but it's arranged really nicely. I will definitely be back to visit once I need a birthday gift. Super cool.

Everyone needs to shop at this store because I need it to do really well so that I can visit it whenever I'm in town. This shop has the best curated collection of hand-made and local-made goods I've ever seen. And I live for this sort of thing so that's saying something. Obviously they have fabric & yarn & craft supplies and they're lovely. But if you need a gift for any occasion, this is one stop shopping AND you're supporting a local business AND really talented people. So go to Digs & buy things. Please. It's awesome.

I loved visiting this store! Fun, unique, artsy products.
I bought a mug in the store, and decided to buy a whole set after I got home to CA.
They were great about helping me with purchase and shipping. And when I had a problem with one of the mugs, they were great about working with me to get another.

This is the fabric store that I have been looking for. There are so many different patterns - I could spend hours touching the fabrics and dreaming up new projects in which I can incorporate them. I was there four days ago and am already looking for excuses to return.
Aside from the amazing selection of fabrics, yarns, and ribbons, there are locally created crafts ranging from journals to cards to jewelry, to pottery, etc. It is a great store in an adorable neighborhood and a lovely place to find a little gift or two for someone special.

Find gifts for one and all at this wonderful hidden gem. This store contains everything from the cutest greeting cards, to kitchy T-shirts to an amazing assortment of funky fabrics and yarns. Lots of their wares are locally-made, and the folks who work there are extremely friendly. Plus, the Grand Cafe is right next door -- I love to make a Sunday habit of grabbing brunch and browsing Digs. Always delightful finds :)

Wow. This cute shop is like if Crafty Planet and I Like You had a baby, and hid it in Kingfield. It's super cute, but also chock full of great quality yarn ( I skimmed and found Brown Sheep, Malabrigo and Bernat.) There is also a pretty good selection of fabric from many designers, including Amy Butler and Echino.)
Up front there are many small gift items, like jewelry, paper goods and home goods. I really like the cards that had little badges attached to them. There were also a ton of greeting cards.
This would be a great place to stop in to buy a gift. The atmosphere of the place really

I was excited when I saw the storefront of this adorable gift shop two blocks from home, boasting of hand-maid stationary and local jewelry. But I was overcome with joy once I realized that this amazing little shop was also a high quality yarn and fabric craft store. There goes my paycheck!
The owner just moved her shop from Northfield to uptown, if you are a crafter in the area, its well worth the trip to check out her great selection of yummy yarns, and Amy Butler fabrics.
