When I founded AKV, it was my goal to empower people who had tried everything else but were still looking for relief. Being able to do that every day is a blessing! My preferred way of working is to combine massage with stretching, yoga, energy work, guided breathing, and/or counseling or self-care tips because it takes a multi-pronged approach to balance all the aspects of physical, mental, and emotional wellness.

I came upon a Kneaded Vacation because someone gave me a gift certificate, booked with Kristin. She greeted me at the door and was nothing but friendly and professional the entire time. I felt comfortable and welcome. The facility was cozy, clean and relaxing with great energy. I usually like a medium pressure but sometimes get knots in my upper back from stress and tension.... which I like to be broken up. Nicole gave me the best therapeutic massage of my life. I walked out feeling relaxed and limber. She took the time to explain things and to really understand my issues. The days following my massage were even better. My typical daily back pain was gone. I plan to go back and I'm grateful that I found this amazing place!

Had my first session with Nicole and can not stop recommending her. The attention to details, her absolute professionalism , the level of comfort and welcoming space immediately reduce all anxiety and stress about first visits. Her knowledge of anatomy and kinesiological principles are outstanding. Athletes, dancers, performers and parents(!) who move and run around all day would see immediate results. Stretching, modifications of quotidian movement, analysis of injury or strains, chronic painful annoyances and general overall stress reduction tactics are all in her wheelhouse. Truly a great practitioner

Nicole is a fantastic Massage Therapist. I started coming here in January 2021 for pre-Natal messages. There are safety precautions in place and the facility is very clean so I feel comfortable/relaxed coming here. We wear masks during the appointment and there is a specialized air filter that kills any potential harmful bacteria.
I truly enjoy the personalized experience and the follow-ups from Nicole in regards to health & wellness information that we had gone over during out appointments.

Nicole is an amazing massage therapist - she is so incredibly qualified and knowledgeable, and her integrated massages are truly personalized. I came for a massage just to relax and unwind, but I left feeling even better than I had expected because she found tight spots that I didn't even know I had. The breadth of her training means that she can bring many elements to your massage - Thai Yoga massage, Swedish, Reiki, and more. Amazing!
Edited to add: just had a massage with Micki nine weeks after having a baby, and it was another FANTASTIC massage experience. She was so attentive to tight spots

My husband and I scheduled our sessions with Micki, an amazing massage therapist. We both walked out feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. My chiropractor even noticed a positive difference in how my muscles were reacting...and that was a few days after the massage! The added bonus is Nicole, the owner who has built such a calming and peaceful experience. We will definitely visit A Kneaded Vacation again!
