World Tattoo Studio is a custom tattoo shop located in the Baker neighborhood of downtown Denver, Colorado. You can find us on 6th avenue, nestled between the Santa Fe Arts District and Broadway. Services
Keep the sterile bandage on overnight. If the bandage comes off before then, follow steps 2 and 3, the re-wrap the tattoo with a clean piece of plastic film and tape. Ian broke my trust in him as a tattoo artist. He turned my Julia Roblin tattoo into a disgusting joke.
He may be a great artist but you don't mess with someone else's skin for your own amusement.
Getting this fixed as soon as it heals but wanted to let everyone know Ian can seem like a good guy but he will take advantage of your trust in his integrity.

I moved to Denver in September and was searching so hard to find a great tattoo shop that I could rely on for consistent quality work. I met Amy Shapiro at World through mutual friends and scheduled a consultation and we hit it off instantly. Amy has the incredible ability to interpret and express your ideas and suggestions in a creative and beautiful way and is so receptive to feedback and new ideas. In a world filled with endless tattoo shops, World Tattoo is the shop that will end your search. I found this place by word of mouth(thanks Alex Kass at Electric Panther in SA, TX), explored Ian Lutz's work via Instagram, and knew I wanted him to create my upper back piece. I went in for a consultation to discuss ideas with Ian and then scheduled the session a few months following.
My appointment began on time and we only took a few breaks throughout. We listened to some awesome music and had great conversation(I never know what you're supposed to do or say when being tattooed).

I flew all the way from Dallas, TX just to get tattooed at World Tattoo. The shop its self is in a convenient and safe location, it's VERY clean, and has a lot of art work to enjoy. Alex, Chris, and Ian are extremely friendly and professional, I was also greeted the moment I walked in the door. I got a very large tattoo by Ian, but highly recommend the other artists as well, definitely a very talented group!! 100% Worth the travel and I can not wait to return for more work!!

Came to WTS for my first tattoo. It was a design I brought to them and Ian did an excellent job nailing the look to a T. The shop has a cool vibe to it, with great music playing and incense burning. In my opinion, the greatest part of the experience was working with Ian. Especially being my first tattoo, I really appreciated his willingness to explain the process to me and keep a super laid back vibe the whole time. You can tell he's just a great guy in general. Although Chris didn't work in my tattoo, I did get the chance to meet him and he seemed very nice as well. Both artists do have

I randomly walked in to World Tattoo after driving by on my way to get work done on my car. I had planned to go to Dedication Tattoo to talk about an idea I had, but was on foot, so thought I'd try a much closer studio.
I'm super glad I did. I was pretty nervous. My first tattoo at 36 yo and it was a solo adventure. Chris was super nice. My idea of a realistic oak tree might have been out of his normal wheelhouse and he did a good job of ensuring my expectations were realistic. In about 20 minutes he drew up an outline that was perfect.
Throughout the process, he checked in with me

This new shop is home to two veteran tattoo artists that are each amazing in their own right. Ian Lutz is incredible at geometric type designs; he is working on a sleeve for me right now and I love it. I gave him complete creative authority to design whatever he wanted, and I'm glad he did. A lot of the work is done by him just freestyle drawing on my arm with a sharpie and then tattooing it, which I think is impressive. The other artist Chris Erickson provides a nice balance to Ian's style, with more colorful designs of animals, flowers, "Neo -American", as well as excelling

I had the most pleasant experience at World Tattoo! I have been dreaming of getting a piece done by Ian for a few years and when I heard he moved back to Denver I immediately sent him an email. He replied quickly and got me in for a consult in just about a week or so. He was so friendly and knowledgeable as we spoke about my thigh piece, we finished by making an appointment about a month out.
He drew up my tattoo in about an hour and we spent a lot of time making it perfect after we stenciled it on my thigh. He put a lot of concentration and focus into making sure it was aligned appropriately
