Miles was amazingly helpful. Although he didn’t have to, he went above and beyond to not only check the serial number of my broken laptop and let me know it was still under warranty, but that it would be more affordable just to replace it than for him to work on it! This shop is great and have been my go-to for 5 years and counting. Always on top of the issue at hand and always seem to be doing everything they can to make the best fix. Highly knowledgeable crew and great customer service.
Side note: I don’t make a practice of this as I totally trust them, but there was a minor communication issue that led to a disputed charge - they really gave me the “customer is always right” treatment on that. Not something I anticipate happening in the future, just was nice to know they were interested in maintaining customer satisfaction even if they didn’t 100

Brian at Tech Bench was terrific! My first contact by phone with Brian made me comfortable and wanting to deal with the company. He was very helpful and explained the process of what he was doing as he went along. Both Brian and Miles made me feel like I had value as a person, not only as a customer. They attacked the hardware and software problems I brought them packed in my old laptop with a focus of professionalism and expertise. Even though it was not as easy a fix as initially thought they totally respected what I needed the end product to be. After numerous timely communications and mutual reevaluations along the way, they resolved the problems to meet my needs. They did a great job. Miles worked on my laptop. He worked hard to diagnose the issue with my laptop and is following up with Dell on my behalf to see about getting an extended warranty.

The company name - Tech Bench - describes best its focus for hardware and software help. It is my preferred company for Computer hardware/software issues. Tech Bench and Miles - one of their technicians is very professional, knowledgeable and exceptionally responsive when I needed help on several occasions. After diagnosing the problem, they have the customer in mind offering good value solutions. An example with my Hard drive problem, it was best to replace and upgraded to ta Solid State Drive SSD, today's standard for new computers. They have provided virus identification and removal on site

Felt very confident letting Tech Bench repair my computer. They were able to diagnose the problem before the repair. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to repair their computer. Unfortunately another problem arose that could not be predicted until they took the computer apart. This made my repair somewhat expensive. However, I'm extremely satisfied with the quality of the work done. I was informed of what was happening and what was found at every step of the repair process. I took my laptop to Tech Bench to get the keyboard replaced and also upgraded to a 500GB Solid State Drive. Katie and Brian did a GREAT job on my computer! The work was expertly done and the cost for the parts+labor was very reasonable and fair. My computer is running better than new!

Tech Bench is incredible! I had a 13ish year old MacBook Pro that was completely done - the battery had expanded, exploding the bottom part. Couldn't even turn it on. It had hundreds of thousands of photos and my entire life on there, which I had no access to for a long time.
I took it to Best Buy to get it repaired but they told me it was an insurance liability to take it in to repair (totally understandable - the laptop was in really bad shape). A friend told me to try Tech Bench repair a MacBook Air that the Apple Store was going to charge $759 to repair water damage from a glass of water spilling on the keyboard. They were able to dry things out and they found I only needed a new battery. I only spent $180 saving $579! They had told me at the Apple Store that I should probably buy a new laptop. So much for Apple care!

Ken came to the rescue when the hard drive on my laptop died with no warning. He was able to save my data, put in a new hard drive, and get everything cleaned up and working again. The laptop was ready for pickup when he said it would be ready, and the price was extremely reasonable! Highly recommended.
