This place is awful.
My insurance assigned them to me as my primary care provider. I had to wait a week for a virtual screening, then a month for my first in-person physical. On the way to the physical I hit traffic. called to say I'd be 15 minutes late, couldn't get through their robot answering system. When I arrived 15 minutes late, I was told my appointment was canceled and I'd need to reschedule.
I am now calling my insurance provider to demand to be assigned elsewhere.

I haven't experienced in problems with Affinity. As of today, going on three years, customer service has met every need in an expedient mannsr. It is the doctor's office where I have encountered problems. Thank you Affinity for reaching out to my doctors and guiding thwm in the appropriate steps to better serve their patient.

Warning, Specially to Seniors, They Never answer the phone, they put you on hold and then ask for your phone # and email to contact you later. this is unethical ( but legal ) way of gathering your information and capture you as a lead for marketing rather than answer your questions so you can choose to continue with working with them or not. i tired 5 times in different hour but the result was the same.

Affinity Medical Group. Must be one of, if not THE worst choices one can make in the interest of their own health care. "Rita's" glowing review of their speedy approval process is SO contradictory and different to our experience that I've concluded that the review must be contrived and fake. Even the doctors that are actually providing treatment are expressing their frustration with Affinity's so-called approval "process". If you are signing up for an HMO health insurance you might do yourself a great favor by asking if/who they contract the approval process to and doing your research on them.

Affinity is causing me a great deal of unneeded stress in my life. I called them over a week ago to have them change my primary doctor so they could process a referral. My insurance is with Aetna and my referral network is with Affinty. Aetna called them as well to change my doctor. They told me it would take 3-5 business days to change over and to have my doctor drop to paper my referral request. Affinity will not approve my referral request and yet another phone call has to be made to see why they failed to change my doctor over and why they are denying my referral. I have told them repeatedly

I have spent no less than 6 hours trying to be the middle woman between Affinity, a new OB's office and Health Net. Every step that is taken to get me to a new OB is done incorrectly taking me back to square one. Am 21 weeks pregnant, yet have not seen a doctor in two months because of this mess. Terribly disorganized on every level.

Here is my story with Affinity:
A year and a half ago, I was billed incorrectly by an urgent care center. It was billed as a regular visit when it was an urgent care visit, which should have been covered by Affinity. Affinity, as a result, did not cover my visit, and billed me for $330. I am unable to request that my doctor's office resend the bill correctly as it must be requested by Affinity, my medical group. So I have called them probably 9 times in the last year and a half, and every time it goes like this: They either tell me they can't help me and I have to talk to my medical office (which

This is the worst HMO imaginable. Avoided it at all costs. I am in rehabilitation after having a toe amputated. They are trying to throw me out of rehab without talking to my surgeon or to the Doctor who is treating me or talking with the physical or occupational therapists who can determine when I can climb the 58 stairs back into my home.

I'm on eternal hold with through my insurance carrier (Humana) trying to get a emergency referral approved by Affinity (45 mins and counting). So much for the emergency. I'm on day 7 waiting for an emergency referral. Last month it took 3 weeks to get an additional 12 physical therapy visits. Unfortunately, I was unable to continue PT for the 3 weeks while I waited for a referral. Thanks a lot for nothing Affinity! You give Kaiser a run for their money when it comes to BAD health care coverage. I give you ZERO stars but I'm forced to give you 1 to post how bad Affinity Medical Group operates. Hire
