I love helping others to create their own perfect "Alaskan Adventures".
It might not surprise you to learn that the majority of visitors to Alaska are first time visitors. Many people want to visit Alaska and have an Alaska trip on their "bucket list" so we're a popular pick among those making their annual vacation plans.

First time visitors to Alaska often need a leg up with travel planning due to the significant distances between points in Alaska as well as the logistical hurdles caused by travel by rail, car, bus and ferry.
Alaska is America's largest and most northern state. It's also arguably the most unique, spectacular, wild and intriguing state in America for travelers. In fact, when you visit Alaska, it feels like you've arrived in a special place far away from the world you know. No wonder many refer to Alaska as "America's Last Frontier" and "The Last Great Place".
The best time to visit Alaska depends on your interests. Alaska is amazing any time of year, but most travelers prefer to visit during the warm and bright summer months, with July being the busiest. Summer is also the peak season for Alaska businesses that cater to tourists, so your travel, lodging, sightseeing and adventure options are seemingly unlimited.

Used Alaska Tours for our honeymoon. Everything was booked for us and just needed to arrive at our destinations. All the hotels were really nice and the extra excursions were worth it!

They helped me setup a train tour from Fairbanks to Anchorage, and secure lodging along the way, even adjusting the days of my stay so I could explore the towns! Have happily recommended them to family and friends I know for their own trips!

BEWARE! In March 2019, I called Alaska Tours to book their Fly-Out Guided Spin Fishing for three people - our son who is serving at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, my husband and myself. I told them we wanted to go salmon fishing from Riversong Lodge, a trip that had been recommended to us by a fellow officer of my son's, and their staff person booked the trip. Curiously, none of Alaska Tour's subsequent paperwork, invoices or vouchers contained any detail regarding our arrangements. Imagine our surprise when we departed June 27 and landed at a completely different (and inferior) lodge

I did the short Portage glacier tour departing from downtown Anchorage and it was great. Our guide/drive Eric was nice, knowledgeable and funny, as were the guides/crew on the boat on Portage lake. The glacier itself is much bigger and more impressive than i expected--beautiful!

Found this organization on the internet, gave em a call! I explained to them what kind of adventure my wife and I were looking for and they truly listened to me! We ended up doing the Lodge Tour which was exactly what we were looking for! Everything fell together exactly right! All reservations and flight times were exact. Our names were exactly were they needed to be! Nothing went wrong! We stayed at 1st class places and got 1st class treatment! The advise they give you in the itinerary is extremely useful, If you want it done right, use these guys! If and when we go back to Alaska, Ill be giving
