Ludlow Kingsley
We first opened our doors in 2007 on the heels of an award-winning website design and development collaboration by our founding partners, Roxanne and Clark. For the first few years, Ludlow Kingsley served as a creative digital design team for large ad agencies, while persistently amassing a strong portfolio and client base.

Over the years, we have grown to become a harmonious team, configured to deliver extraordinary work. Feathers in our cap include creating the brand identity for Parachute Home and the rebrand of Downtown LA's famed Grand Central Market. A $100-million makeover intended to transform the well-known Hollywood Boulevard tourist attraction into a place locals want to visit, too.
Services
Our team has been fortunate to work on so many great projects. Notably, Parachute Home, Grand Central Market, Ovation Hollywood, Groundwork Coffee, and so much more. We see a future where people can find their calling; where humans and the environment flourish; and where organic is the new norm.

By ethically sourcing the best organic coffee we can find, we proudly lay the groundwork for better coffee, which in turn fuels our customers to do the same.LA's most authentic coffee-sourced from certified organic farms around the globe, batch-roasted daily, and served to the most driven community in the world.
Parachute is one of the top direct-to-consumer luxury bedding brands in the country. We worked with founder Ariel Kaye to build the brand from scratch, starting with the company name, which references the shape a sheet makes as it billows down when making the bed. From there we created a complete identity system; including a logo, typography, icon suite, packaging and print design, and a custom e-commerce website.
Grand Central Market is a bona fide Los Angeles institution, celebrating 100 years of business in 2017. When Adele Yellin-the amazing visionary behind the Market's revival-called on us for a holistic identity refresh, we sought to give the LA landmark a fresh and relevant feel, while staying true to its vivid historic legacy.
Candle Co. is a handmade fragrance and home goods company based in Los Angeles. They reached out to Ludlow Kingsley to design custom packaging for their premier line of Fine Fragrance. Designed for skin & body, Fine Fragrance translates the company's beloved scents into a unisex eau de parfum. For this project, we created a custom typeface which mimics the hand-stamped feeling of P.F.
The team at Manduka came to us as an already well-established and go-to yoga brand but having trouble with communicating their story. Seeking to evolve their brand's positioning and creative presence, all while keeping the sacred Manduka frog mark, we worked to capture and define this through strategy, identity, and so much more.

Very expensive for little work! A very typical agency, that asks for more money every time you ask them a question.

Client: "Hey- How are you?"
Ludlow Kingsley: **sends an invoice for $500 to respond to question.

Can't even provide a style guide.

I have been amazed and thrilled by the work of Ludlow Kingsley. From my first conversation with Clark to the final stages of my website going live they have been engaged, caring, and pro-active. The design team were able to listen to the vibe of what I wanted when people landed on my page and they created it completely. Every email was returned straight away, often with 2-3 of them on the call. I could not have imagined that my site could be as stunning as it is and I know it is because of the team at Ludlow Kingsley that this has been possible.

I am thrilled with Ludlow Kingsley and their work output that resulted in my companies brand identity and website. They were responsive in their communication, the price was very fair and most importantly their work speaks for itself (it's awesome). If you are looking for a smart, fun, creative group of experts to help you develop a brand identity or take that identity and display it and promote it digitally, you will want to call Ludlow Kingsley.

If you're not a "major client" with this agency, they seem to treat you as second class. Work is sub-par, they get upset when you question or provide direction and it takes them several days to respond to emails. Finally, deadlines are often missed and pushed back without warning.

My sense was that they did all the work for the clients they liked first, while pushing our projects to the side. Then, when they were up against a wall, they did a little bit of work and, upon delivery, made a big fuss about how much work went into whatever it was they just did.

Finally, I'd suggest
