Our story begins in 1979, when Richard "Dick" Riddle dreamed of starting his own business in Detroit, Mich. He followed his calling and the rest, as they say, is history. Richard "Dick" Riddle, a former pastor, school principal and even homebuilder, joins an insurance agency representing Church Mutual in Detroit, Mich.
Although headquartered in Newport Beach, CA, Church & Casualty is strategically located in southern, central and northern California, and southern Nevada. When you call, not only will you hear a live voice: our friendly, solutions-focused insurance agents are available for on-site visits as well. We take pride in our superior customer service, and look forward to meeting your insurance needs.
At Church & Casualty, our extensive, cost-effective risk control and coverage solutions are just the beginning. We go even further by offering the following value-added services to our customers. We've teamed up with HR experts, Mineral (formerly known as ThinkHR), to provide you with free resources for which include an employee handbook builder, compliance tools, training courses, and more.
Church & Casualty believes in giving back. In fact, every employee spends a paid work day each year contributing to causes near and dear to his or her heart. From food pantries and homeless shelters to painting houses and toy drives, take a look at our social media to see what members of our team have been up to.
Every once in a while, your religious organization or senior community may participate in an off-site event that requires a Certificate of Insurance, which represents your existing insurance coverage. Examples include holding a special event at a public park, a field trip to a local lake or swimming pool, or even an RV rental for a road trip.
