Alter House Restaurant & Bar is a family owned Farm-to-Table restaurant & event venue dedicated to seasonal, sustainable cuisine. It is our culinary mission to source the finest ingredients from farmers markets, regional farmers, artisan purveyors and local farms whenever possible. Booked a table for New Year’s Eve, we had a great evening at the alter house we started with a drink at the bar our bartender was friendly and the drinks were great.we enjoyed the live music provided by the frost duo. Our table was ready quickly and we had a great dinner with excellent service.we will return soon

Alter House is the best restaurant in the area! We made a last minute reservation for New Years Eve dinner and the manager, Jessica, was happy to accommodate and made sure we were comfortable and greeted us with complimentary Prosecco. Our server, Andrew, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and recommended the Pear Martini on the cocktail menu - my new absolute favorite! I never been so impressed by the vegan and gluten free roasted vegetable and latke entree, from presentation to flavor profile this is the best vegan dish I have ever had. The hostess, Kris, is so warm, beautiful, and welcoming

We recently tried The Altar House for the first time and we were very impressed.
The staff were all extremely friendly and the service was excellent.
The food was also very good, and the portion sizes were larger than we would have expected. The execution and flavors of the dishes we had (steak and short ribs) was great!
We were particularly impressed by the charcuterie board though. Many restaurants really phone in charcuterie boards, but not here! They really did a great job putting this together and there's a great variety on the board.
We definitely can't wait to come back!

Alter house is our favorite spot. The food, drinks, staff, and ambiance are 5 stars all the way. Tracy the bartender is a drink artist she makes the best signature and dessert cocktails. The s’mores martini is the best with a toasted marshmallow on top. Go to alter house you won’t be disappointed and you’ll be back!

I enjoyed the food but the service was sub par. When I’m paying top dollar for food I expect the service to be on point. Most of them are very inexperienced in fine dining and you can definitely tell by how awkward they carry themselves. Not too mention they all hangout together in the corner like it’s a high school study period. Also I can’t help but notice you only hire women in the front of house.... seems biased

Yesterday was my birthday and my boyfriend made a surprise reservation. I really wanted to try this place out. From start to finish.
The hostess Chris was amazing. She went above an beyond and ended up doing our waitresses job.
I ordered the scallops and it was so salty. It made my eyes water. Our waitress never returned, it was the hostess that helped us. We got a new serving of scallops 30 mins later with our entree of steak that was so undercooked. The waitress was more interested in talking with other Co workers near the kitchen or trying to get big tips from other patrons. I had to leave

One of my favorite restaurants in town and so was disappointed. Friday night at 6 pm and barely anyone in the patio area. Food took longer than normal to get. I get my salad and the dressing was like drinking pure lemon juice with salt. Then I ordered a mudslide Martini and I got it in a kids cup and it did not taste right either. Better get their game together or things are going to start going south. :( so sad today.

Love love love this restaurant. What a beauty inside and the food is oh so amazing! I love farm to table restaurants and what a surprise they had farm to table drink menus. I was in heaven with the dessert. I am a New Yorker and let me tell you that was the best cheesecake I have ever had, so soft and the popcorn was infused in lavender.
