Dr. Nicole Savage has owned Pine Country Animal Clinic since 2010. After graduating from Veterinary School at the University of Tennessee and practicing in Chicago, she was excited to return to her home state of Arizona. Dr. Savage is grateful to work with a phenomenal staff who are caring and dedicated.

Dr. Savage and our staff strive to educate pet owners on the importance of preventative care and individualize our recommendations depending on the age and lifestyle of your pet. By proactively identifying medical issues, we are more likely to effectively treat problems and allow your beloved pet to live an active and long life.
We are a growing, single-doctor, general veterinary practice located in Payson, AZ. We have a tight knit dedicated staff who provide excellent care in a collaborative work environment. Our ideal candidate would be a conscientious team player with excellent client service skills. Candidates must be comfortable around animals and be able to lift 25 lbs.

It was a busy Monday and they squeezed my dog in on an emergency basis. They were so kind and thorough. They explained her condition thoroughly. Kadie’s fee was so economical considering all of the time they spent with her. We will be back. 💕😊❤️

They were so informative and comforting when our dog was reaching his end of life (we were new to the area and already knew our pup had cancer and had already outlived his prognosis). Dr. Savage always called us back personally to answer our questions, and she and her staff never made us feel bad about calling. Our boy's passing was very dignified and loving. We miss him so much, but know we made the right decision at the right time.

Had an awesome experience today with Dr. Savage. Just recently moved to Payson, and after an
awful experience last week with another clinic here in Payson, I went for a second opinion at Pine Country. The staff was so professional and Dr. Savage was so gentle and caring with my cat. Highly recommend this clinic.

I moved up here recently and was in need of a new vet for my baby boy. They were unnecessarily rough with my small dog. He's friendly and has never hurt anyone before. They didn't try to get to know him at all and when it came to him getting the thermometer she was too rough. He's had lots of other standard check ups like this and never once was that scared or in that much pain. I won't mind the drive now as I go down to the valley to go to his old vet.
