Jason jansma is amazing and is well respected amongst all judges and prosecutors. Former prosecutor himself, I used him twice,one criminal and one fakes of the court (friend of the court) we as dad's have so many rights to biological kids and the system likes to turn there heads but when you get jason he gets the job done quick. Your on my speed dial if needed again. Price very well worth it. You get what you pay for if your looking for a cheap newbie.

In my experience this is probably one of the better law firms in the area. Mark as my attorney was courteous, prompt and extremely detailed while handling my traffic ticket. He explained things well and as a CDL holder he understood my situation and was able to get my ticket reduced. If I had to nitpick the cost seemed high BUT if I had to hire a lawyer again I would definitely go with Mark.

I felt a need to shop criminal lawyers outside of my general home in SW Michigan I went to a few sites read the reviews and "mission statements" and liked West Michigan defense team the best I felt they really aligned with my personel concerns and reputation. I have used Jason Jansma twice and a court appointed attorney once. Any court appointed attorney could have done the same job that Jason did. He said about 2 sentences to the judges each time, forcing me to do almost all of the talking. I didn't like how I had to pay in full before my hearing date. Both sentences turned out worse than expected.

Would recommend seeking other attorneys. The only time they were really attentive is the initial consultation when they are getting ready to ask for money as a retainer. After that my defense attorney was a lay down and was easily pushed around by the opposing counsel. He seemed to be well known, but certainly did not have enough clout to get good results for me. I was 42 years old at the time with a clean record , a veteran, and had NEVER been in any trouble before. I was charged with Felony Assault. Not only did I end up with the felony, but from day he never got an inch from the other attorney

Needing to find a lawyer in another state is never an easy thing to do. There is a fair amount of stress associated with trying to find someone you can completely trust. I can't begin to describe the relief we felt once we started to see Mark Hunting in action trying to get the best possible outcome for us. He never gave us unrealistic hopes, and he thoroughly and carefully explained our options. Most importantly, he was always there for us and answered every question, sometimes on weekends.
