Becoming a dentist was a longtime dream for Dr. Brian Handel. In high school, teachers complimented him on his artistic ability. In shop classes, his instructors noticed how well he worked with his hands and often commented on how creative his projects were. He would typically hear, "You're amazing with your hands; maybe you should think about becoming an artist, a mechanic, a carpenter, or a welder."
Dr. Scott Smith has been in full-time clinical practice since 1993 and in his current King of Prussia location since 1997. He provides periodontal services, including dental implants, to our patients. He has lectured nationally on subjects including dental implants, perio-pathogenesis, surgical and non-surgical periodontal therapy, and advanced clinical treatment planning.

I started working with Wayne Dental in the middle of the pandemic. From the first time I walked in the office everyone was so sweet and welcoming. I was recommended Wayne Dental Care by my friend Al. I had a loose bridge and had a great experience. The office is very modern and the staff is A+++ customer service. Let me start by saying, the office staff was extremely friendly and kind. I was a brand new patient. I was a new patient and I feel it's important to note that I do go to the dentist 2x a year as recommended. They performed several xrays, exam etc..so I was a bit surprised to hear that I had 7 issues that needed to be addressed. I had received a clean dental bill of health just 6 months ago. After I was given the estimated cost, I explained to the finance manager that since it's Oct and I do not have dental insurance, I would only want to start the work now and continue into 2019. Also

DO NOT GO HERE FOR CROWNS, GET THEM DONE SOMEWHERE ELSE!! I've had to come back multiple times to re insert my crown. There is nothing wrong with it, they must be applying temporary cement on the crown. CROWNS ARE SUPPOSED TO FALL OUT IN A TWO WEEK TIME FRAME. Dentists here are either incompetent, or applying temporary cement. This is the worst establishment, I've ever been to. If I could give it a zero, I would.

We all had our initial visits and cavities filled there. The dentist was efficient and quick. Our concerns lay with the woman in charge of financial advisement. She followed me out to my car to sign papers-even though I said I would come right back after the phone call I received. We were also asked to pay upfront before we had any service done on our teeth. They would not let my daughter go back until I wrote them a check first.I've never been in a drs office or dentist office that insisted on payments prior to the work being done. I am so disappointed with this practice - please do not risk getting work done here. I had two crowns put in 2 years ago - within a year of the procedure, one of my crowns fell out. First of all, they should be good for 10 years, so this is not normal. They said it was under "warranty" and made me another crown for no charge. While I was waiting for the replacement, my "temporary" crown also fell out and exposed my tooth, I was in so much pain leaving work that I called and asked if I could swing by before they closed to have them put the temp back in place. Recently had a visit here where the staff waited until after they performed a $300 cleaning and exam to come in and tell me "I assume someone went over this with you but we no longer carry your insurance so you will need to pay in full before you leave here today." Sadly no one had informed me of this prior to having dental work done.

Stay far away! After 5 silver filling were replaced in one session, I had horrible pain after the numbing wore off. I called the office to see if they could call in some pain meds and they assured me they would. I called the pharmacy multiple times to see if they were called in yet and then called the dental office but they were closed. The staff "forgot" to call them in and actually laughed at their mistake. It's not so funny when your whole mouth is throbbing all night and you can't sleep. Let me begin by saying that the service was great. All of the staff members were very friendly and made me feel welcomed. I only went in for an exam and a teeth cleaning since it is my first time at the location. The cleaning was very nice and I left feeling very clean. I did have a better teeth cleaning before at another location, but that is too far now. However, she was great - my second best of all of the hygienists that I have had over the years. The dentist that I had met during the visit was very nice as well. Such a shame that I will not get to experience her skills because I believe that
