Judy L. Buxton, D.M.D. Family Dentistry
We are sterilizing each room after every patient with Clorox wipes and disinfection spray. We are having everyone pre-rinse with hydrogen peroxide and water which kills bacteria and viruses. We are providing hand sanitizer upon entrance to the office. The doctor is using disposable gowns, gloves, hair covering and face shield along with protective mask.

Touchless temperatures are taken upon entry, along with appropriate health questions being asked. We hope this eases patients' minds in getting dental procedures performed and helps guarantee our patients good health. We offer patient-focused, comprehensive dental care to help you achieve better oral health.

Dr. Judy Buxton's patients can! It starts with the warm greeting you get as soon as you enter the office. Whether you're there for a consultation, a cleaning, a filling, teeth whitening, a night/sports guard, a crown or implant, you will be pleasantly surprised. A University of Michigan graduate, Dr. Buxton earned her DMD at the University of Pennsylvania.
A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
Digital radiography (digital X-ray) is the latest technology used to take dental X-rays. This technique uses an electronic sensor (instead of X-ray film) that captures and stores the digital image on a computer. Digital X-rays reduce radiation 80-90% compared to the already low exposure of traditional dental X-rays.

Absolutely the best and nicest dentist in the area. If you need a dentist, look no further! I’m sad we are moving away and have to find a new dentist. Highly recommended!

Worked here briefly as a front desk support, so I can report she’s disorganized and nasty.
More to the point as far as patients go, she routinely rips off Delta ins members by overcharging by 50%! for cleanings
DELTA allows $20 for a standard annual cleaning for their members. She tells everyone “oh delta doesnt cover that,” then doesn’t submit the claim and coolly charges the patient $30.

I have been a patient of Dr. Buxton's for many years. I have been so happy with her that I continue to go to her even after moving to NJ. It's worth the drive for a dentist I trust.
One of the things I really appreciate is the way she explains everything she's doing so I'm not surprised by what's happening. She answers all my questions and has been able to fit me in for an emergency.
I couldn't be happier and wouldn't go anywhere else.

While Dr. Buxton is a very nice woman she did a number on my mouth. I had to have multiple dentist fix what she did. I had a root canal and had an infection and she told me it was fine and to let it be. No antibiotic. A few years later the crown she put on fell off and I got to the dentist to find out that infection she said to leave, had slowly eaten away at my bone. The dentist's I have spoke to since have all been dumbfounded as to why she would not treat the infection.

I would characterize my experience at this dental office as informative and thorough. Dr. Buxton looks out for her patients dental health and explains ways for them to maximize their ability to keep their teeth clean between dental visits. Dr. Buxton went above and beyond to minimize discomfort with complete regard to every detail in the cleaning of my teeth. Her assistant Kristin, was bright and cheerful; played a vital role in making the entire appointment go as smoothly as possible. This was one of the best dental experiences I've ever had.

The quality of work that she does is bad. She is not a root canal specialist, but has done two root canals. Many years later, I find out that both need to be redone. On the x-ray it is clearly seen that one is half filled, and she left part of a broken dental instrument inside another one. She also did a front crown that is so much darker than it supposed to be, that every dentists that sees this crown remarks how bad it looks. She ruined my bite by making two crowns in a completely wrong shape, that now need to be replaced as well. Most of the time she messes up billing.
