Seth Reynolds is founder of the Funhouse Tattoo of San Diego and visionary behind the new International Guesthouse Tattoo Shop. He has been tattooing for nearly 20 years and has a degree in Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan. He has cultivated new and paralleled mecca for artists and creators in Pacific Beach that come to together to serve the common purpose of creating tattoo masterpieces.
He enrolled in art and design classes going towards two degrees in Visual Communication Technologies; one in Computer Graphics, the other in Photography. Though he was excelling in school, the art of tattooing presented itself to him and there was no turning back. Hunter moved to San Diego in 2011, and has tattooed at numerous shops since then.
Paul knew at a young age exactly what he wanted to be when he grew up. He wanted to be a tattoo artist. Having always been exposed to the world of art, and body art in particular, he knew that this was where he belonged. At the age of nineteen, Paul left school when he was finally presented with an opportunity to enter the business he coveted.
Born in the frigid woods of northern Minnesota, Arty came into this world holding a pencil. From the beginning, art was a way to understand the world around him. Drawing was not only a way to escape but also to fit in. School days were spent drawing and a loving supportive family encouraged his creativity.

I had my first tattoo done by Jason I had to go back to him for my 2 tattoos he was so kind the first time since I was so nervous. Their kind when you walk into the shop and making an appointment with Jason was quick and I explained what I wanted and he helped with the placements of the tattoos and gave me options and made sure I was happy with the final product. I said I was not going to get any other tattoo but he made my first experience a positive one that I had to get the others done by him.

Can I give more than 5 stars?! Yes I can. So from go the team at Funhouse we're on point. I was visiting San Diego for work and decided I wanted a tattoo. I have words in my arm and have been wanting to add to it. Not 100% sure on what I wanted until I saw a mural in my hotel and it clicked. So then I thought wouldn't it be cool to get that while I'm in town. So I jumped on Yelp and found a bunch of parlors. Then I started reading the reviews and Funhouse kept rising to the top, so I pulled the trigger and sent an email.

I had one of the easiest and most positive experiences with Jason. I walked in right before closing and he fit me in for the next day. What I wanted was simple linework from a video game I like, which is admittedly pretty goofy. He tackled it with enthusiasm and everyone in the shop was very welcoming. I'm planning on adding more and I'm definitely coming back to Jason. The lines are super straight and clean and overall it came out sharp and exactly like what I was picturing.

I emailed the business after seeing the great reviews and was referred to Madison. She was extremely responsive on getting my friend and I in for a tattoo while she was visiting. The shop was clean and fun, a great atmosphere. Madison did a great job on my tattoo and in helping calm my nerves. I gave her a picture and asked her to personalize it more and she knocked it out of the park. The pic is right after so it's swollen but it looks great. I will definitely be back for more from Madison!

Madison did my daughter's first tattoo and also her second! All in the same day. My girl got a bumblebee on each of her knees. "The Bees Knees" Turned out exactly like she was hoping. Madison was great. Patient with us as we figured out placement and made sure she was happy before she started. Great experience all the way around. Strongly recommend and this is coming from a mom who doesn't have any tatts and didn't want her kid to get any! This was much more pleasant than I ever expected

MADISON IS THEE BEST EVER ! I've gotten 8 tattoos from her (I just got 4 today) and I love them all. I've already told her about ideas for future tattoos. She's always down and super patient with my indecisiveness. She's fun to be around. I always look forward to my sessions with her.. she has great taste in cashews (mmm salty). Fun house tattoo international guest house has THE BEST TATTOO ARTIST AROUND: BRENT!!! He did again!! I told him what I wanted and he delivered perfectly! He was so intrigued by the meaning and the colors of autism, those who asked he quickly said. " This is for his autistic son." I've never seen an artist so dedicated to their work. It was also very touching that he said he will post this to his social media to show his support to the autistic community.

My friend and I were looking for last minute tattoos and after searching on Yelp I stumbled across Funhouse Tattoo. After sending a request for the appointment I was told someone would reach out to me and the next morning Madison messaged me. She was able to squeeze us in within a 24 hr notice and was extremely accommodating throughout the whole experience. Roger was great. We walked in with some ideas and he turned it into a piece of art. Easy to work with and they were very accomodating. It had been 17 years since my wife's last tattoo and he had a great manner in helping her with the pain. I would totally recommend him if you are new.

My artist Fernando was very friendly and helpful with the two small tattoos I had gotten. He took great care and time while giving me the tattoos as well, I'm extremely happy with how they turned out. The scheduling process is very smooth and easy. These were my 4th and 5th tattoos and I have to say this was the best tattoo experience I've had!

Came to SD with best friend for my birthday, we had talked about getting matching tattoos for years. On a whim I searched tattoo shops on Yelp and Funhouse came up, I figured if it's meant to be it will be. Sent a request got a reply back within an hr, was put in contact with Jeremiah, we then set up an appt for following day, he even took us earlier than he made appt for. Two days before we went to SD for a day trip, My friend and I made the decision to get tattoos. I had been wanting a sweet pea flower so it was a no brainer what to get that day. Jeremiah pulled up some images real quick that were perfect. We made a few adjustments together, and he helped me chose the location. It was a great experience, and I felt super comfortable! Nice, clean, and professional shop with some great artists! Thanks for the upgrade to my 20-year old tattoo, R2 (Ryan)! (see attached before and after pics) I have spent several hours in the shop and have enjoyed every minute of it (--will update my review once my larger tattoo is finished; looking fantastic so far).

Walked in Sunday in a whim. Always wanted this little piece and after being away for YEARS decided it was time to get it. Daniel was extremely cool and tweaked the font I wanted just a little to make it clean and fresh. He has a very light hand (thank god) and is very detail oriented.

I've been going to Funhouse Tattoo for roughly 5yrs now. Every artist in the shop is very personable and approachable. This shop also doesn't do crappy flash work off the wall. It will always be originally designed artwork for you.
My artist of choice has always been Daniel Thompson. Daniel does crazy single needle detail work. My tats tend to be my passport in life representing my many travels both domestic and abroad. Daniel is very accommodating and his skill is unequaled in my opinion. The guy simply doesn't take enough credit for himself. I'll stop here in my review because
