Have brought our vehicles to Tune Up Plus for a while now and they have always provided us with great service. Just before Thanksgiving my wife's car got stuck in a parking lot. After calling Tune Up one of their guys walked to where she was and helped her with the problem on the spot without asking anything in return. Very helpful people and great business!

I don't know why the front person was cursing at me casually, but Tune Up was pretty okay for what is worth.
I didn't know it's about 20 dollars to do an inspection.?o.o yikes. Overall, I think the experience would've flowed better if the front person wasn't so demeaning. Nonetheless after the service, he told me have a great weekend, which I guess now I know theres a human soul inside.

I drove our family moving van into the shop with one of our brake calipers seizing and smoking from a trip from NC. Dave was able to make room in the shop, get the van inspected, fixed and out the door in about 2 1/2 hours, allowing is to complete our trip back to NC safely. He even worked the bill to try and give us the most discounts and savings available to us. Definitely will be going back there for my future vehicle needs.

Such professionalism was shown by the Manager Dave. There was an issue with my brakes that needed to be addressed and fixed. He handled it and took responsibility for his shop. I was completely impressed and will go back to them in the future for any other car needs. I highly recommend them for your car needs.

I came here for an inspection of another vehicle after a bad experience at Firestone. He doesn't do appointments, but was able to do an inspection on my vehicle the same day. It failed for having a broken parking brake and an inner tail light was out. Also it only had one of two fog light assemblies in the front bumper. I brought the car home and ran new parking brake cables to new rear calipers, fixed the tail light, and took out the remaining fog light assembly. (He hinted it would pass if it didn't have either fog light). I had looked into putting the fog light back on the bumper prior

I came to this location to get a problem fixed From another tune up plus location. I was so frustrated and was crying the general manager David cerulli helped and listened. The last location with a T. Thompson at the Gainsborough location was unprofessional unempathic and didn't even care. But Mr. David listened and fixed the problem and understood what I need and got it done. I appreciate Mr. David taking the time to listen respond and fix the issue. I hope that the other location will listen and learn. You get reparar business by how you treat people and showing empathy not sympathy. Thank

I took my 2006 BMW here for a VA state inspection. My vehicle had nothing that would not have allowed it to pass inspection. I know because it was recently serviced at a BMW dealership. The manager calls me and says my power steering fluid is low and it MIGHT have a leak. He said there is no visible proof of a leak and the performance is not affected, and there is no noise to substantiate the claim, but because it is low he KNOWS there is a leak. He would not know until his mechanic did a full flush which would cost another $160. WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST TOP IT OFF???????? I tell them to fail

Okay, so clearly the negative reviews are due to misunderstandings using the groupon. I recommend that you call ahead and get a quote so you are aware of any extra costs. Yeah you have to pay for oil disposal, extra quarts, higher end oil, etc. This is all totally standard with any oil change coupon in existence, no need to get salty about it. That said, I went in for an oil change ( I used a groupon and I knew before calling that there would be extra charges but the manager also informed me upfront so I wouldn't be surprised). Turns out I also needed a brake flush which I also had done. The

This place honestly just sucks and rips you off. I took my car to get inspected after them telling me all I needed to fix was a broken blinker lights. Okay perfect. Fixed it! Then failed due to my headlight alignment, then wanted $36 per headlight to move a screw around. Ridiculous. When I went to another mechanic shop, they wouldn't even touch my headlight alignment because they said it was perfect. So???? Oh and the guy at the front desk is horrible when he doesn't get his way.

Back in November I came in for an inspection and to get my headlight replaced and spent over $440. Everything went well and David helped me out as much as he could with my financial situation. Today, 1/23/19, the HID bulb I had replaced just two months ago went out again and it should have been a simple replacement at no cost to me. It turns out that the ballast was faulty and the people Tune-Up Plus bought it from will not replace it. It's unfair for me to have to pay twice for the same bulb when the bulb itself was fault and/or the work was faulty. I should not have to pay $149 to replace

I have purchased Groupons before to be used at this location and I've never had a problem until now. Called to make an appointment today and asked if I could just drop it off. He told me he pretty much will never be able to get me in and to go to their Chesapeake location instead. That's not the reason why I purchased it to have to drive out of my way. I guess he wanted to justify the reasoning behind it by telling me they only have two lifts and mostly do heavy jobs. Then why list your location to use for this Groupon?? Luckily I was able to get my money back and I'll just go across

Worst experience. I bought Groupon and the charged me additional $45. And they pushed hard other services and the guy who greeted me was playing game the whole time and told me they don't have time to do my tire rotation even though that's included in the service and I make an appointment one day in advance. Don't go for horrible customer service.

Horrible customer service. I was told car inspections start first thing when they open up at 0730 and it's "first come first serve." I was the first person there when they opened up and was told it would be a 5/12 hr wait.. I understand people may have dropped their vehicles off the night before, but why would you tell me that if I come in when you open up that I would be the first customer?Garbage business altogether, would never recommend to anybody I care about.

One car took 2 hours (they thought it was more important to talk about drones then fix my car...my whole family was waiting) and the other took 2.5 hours (they didn't even call me), just for an oil change and tire rotation. Then, I was driving my first car back home and the entire car was shaking all the way home...thought I was going to crash with my family inside. I went to Tune Up Plus with a groupon for the semi synthetic oil change. They told me the oil my car requires only comes in a full synthetic oil. They wanted to charge me an additional $45. for the oil change. I did not have them do the oil change. I have verified that the oil for my car, 0w-20, is available in a semi synthetic. Groupon gave me credit for this purchase.
