America has a huge pain problem. Americans are less than 5% of all humans on the planet, yet we consume over 80% of all pain pills sold. Fifty percent of all current drug addicts got hooked when they were prescribed Western pain medications. Every 16 minutes an American dies from an overdose of pain medication.
Pain is epidemic in America, and Western medicine does not have many solutions. Looking at the even larger picture of rising nationwide healthcare costs, we see sophisticated technology developed to administer numerous expensive tests. Acupuncture is Asian Needle Therapy that promotes natural healing, enhance recuperative power and immunity.

Acupuncture is one of the oldest, most commonly used forms of medicine in the world. Originating in China more than 2,500 years ago, Acupuncture is currently one of the most thoroughly researched, practiced, and respected forms of complementary medicine available anywhere. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, your overall health is determined by the quality of the Qi & Blood flow through the natural pathways of your body (meridians).
Acupuncture, a form of alternative medicine and core component of Traditional Asian Medicine, is a welcome antidote to the prescription meds and quick-fix interventions typical of Western medical culture. By inserting thin needles into specific meridian points, it's thought to help relieve the symptoms of a wide variety of conditions by shifting your body from attack mode to a more balanced, restful state.
Human beings are bodies, minds, and spirits. Health necessarily involves all of those components, and any program intended to improve health must address all of them. If you're like most people, you may not think about your health, until you are feeling sick or out of balance. Maybe you're too busy keeping up with life's daily responsibilities, or perhaps your focus is on caring for others.
Drinking water (approximately 20 ounces) can increase your metabolic rate by 30 percent. Having a glass on an empty stomach helps put your body on a path toward more efficient digestion the moment you start your day. When you sip a glass first thing in the morning, it cleanses any food acids from your esophagus that worked their way upward while you slept.
As a woman, it's especially important to actively care for your health through all the phases of life. Not only is nurturing your well-being a part of living in harmony with nature's cycles, but it can also improve your quality of life. Most women face a wide variety of health concerns as they age, from PMS, fertility and childbirth issues, to menopause and beyond.

I am SO glad I asked a friend for a recommendation here. I had been trying to conceive for 10 months with no luck. We already had our bloodwork done and everything checked out. Dr. Chong took the time to ask about many things about my lifestyle... again everything seemed great - we are active and healthy. Had 1 acupuncture session and got pregnant! That one unfortunately ended quickly. After my body was back to normal, I tried acupuncture once more and again - success!! 2 for 2 is a pretty great record. I'm 14 weeks now and so grateful for giving it a try. Wish I tried sooner - and I hope

I have been a patient of Dr Harry for over 2 years. Before that I had been nervous to try acupuncture.
The needle hurt just a little the first few visits but the more I went, the easier it became. Now the needles do not hurt at all & the relief I get from the treatment in better than the year of Western Medicine that did nothing to improve my health.
Dr Harry is sincerely kind & caring. He is very knowledgeable. He always does an excellent job of addressing all of my many health conditions all in each visit.
My son has also been a patent for over 2 years & has had excellent results

Harry is my "Jedi Master". I went to him due to migraines stomach issues and he is a miracle worker, I have not taken any medicine in a month and no migraines or flare ups. He takes his time every visit, you can tell he truly cares about his patients. My whole family now visits him and some coworkers. I can't say enough about Harry, he is amazing.

We are from out of town and my son needed help with pain management from a sports injury. I called ... On a Saturday ... And they were booked, but the receptionist checked with the doctor and was able to squeeze us in. What a total blessing! Dr Chong was attentive, knowledgeable and kind. 40 minutes of acupuncture followed by 40 minutes of heat and massage therapy. Will definitely return on Our next visit. Thank you so much!

I've seen many acupuncturists before but I've NEVER been to one as Amazing as Dr Chong. Between myself & my significant other I've seen him work miracles. With every needle he does he tells you exactly what part of the body it's for & what it will do. He puts a heat lamp close enough for you to feel nice & toasty, has a nice super light sheet to keep you cozy & perfect volume relaxing music playing & turns out the light. Once he comes back & takes out the needles he gives you a type of body massage to move around chi after the needles were in that feels

I'm on my feet a lot and pretty physically active. The one thing I can get is terrible back pain. So I went to see Harry and tried acupuncture and cupping. Now when you do one or the other or both schedule accordingly bc it takes time to remove the toxins. The cupping felt great to remove pain in my back cupping is applied based on your pain points similar as the acupuncture. Just see Harry you'll be happy! I saw improvements after the second session...acupuncture improves everything, I find this more relaxing than a massage the results are more long term.

I am very happy with the results I have been having from longevity acupuncture. Harry is beyond professional, but is very warm assuring like a father would be. I have been going for migraines and stress. I have been feeling great with just the therapy and no meds. This is a great addition to the area. Make sure you call for an appointment to guarantee an appointment. Thanks again guys.

Great new addition to Waukegan as well as the holistic/Eastern healing community. The office is super clean and well managed. I visited on a couple different occasions- one included acupuncture when I was 40 weeks pregnant. I was overdue and ready to have my baby so I wanted to try acupuncture to speed up the process naturally. I definitely began getting mild contractions later that evening.
I've also seen Harry for a couple wellness checks and to balance my Qi. He knows what he is doing, takes the time to explain the process, and is very calming.
I highly recommend that you see him should you

In the past I never considered Acupuncture as something I could look towards as solution or a way to heal. My parents would go if they were ill or hurt as I was growing up, but I never really new what the benefits of visiting an acupuncturist could bring me. Until I went to see Harry.
