We look forward to welcoming you here. This was the first time we visited this campground. We had a great time. It is close to Gettysburg and all their attractions. The campground was clean, well-kept and everyone was friendly. They kept the pool open for one extra week after Labor Day since the weather was still wonderful.

Stayed 2 nights, Nov 9-11; site 210 (would highly recommend #209); site next to us was small and close (site 212) but empty, so not an issue; full hookups; no leveling required; stream side was so relaxing and enjoyable, campground was only about 10% full so very quiet. We felt it was extremely pricey for off season, otherwise would have given 5/5.

Made a reservation back in February with the old owners for a week. The campground got flooded and the told us the 1st night we would have to go somewhere else. Than charged for 7 nights when we only stayed 6. Told us the new owner does not have weekly rate and we're getting a deal at the daily rate for 6 nights. They CHEATED us out of one night's stay.

Fun resort campground. We arrived on a October Holiday weekend. They had free pumpkins, a carving contest, site Halloween decorations contest, hundreds of kids trick or treating from site to site, and a Saturday night DJ dance party. They also have a mini golf and horseshoe game area. The camp store has a Hershey Ice Cream shop. My one issue is that there are not nearly enough bathrooms for over 200 sites. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

This Campground is under new ownership. They seem to be more focused on raising the rates to what they describe as " industry standard prices" , but yet the quality of service and the upkeep have declined. Yes, after 20 years of visiting this campground under the ownership of Robert, we have decided to take our annual camping group to another campground next year. Hopefully, we will experience a good time there.

We have been going to Gettysburg Campground for several years and loved the campground and enjoyed having Robert and his family running the campground unfortunately Robert has sold the campground and even though it was sad to see him and his family go we thought we would continue to Camp there however the new owners decided to become greedy and raise the prices to a point that is unrealistic and unaffordable for a lot of families on a budget. Sad to say this increase in price is driving people away, who wants to pay those kind of prices to park your camper on a piece of dirt when there were no

Very disappointed this year and this is the first time I’ve said this out of the 20 plus years I’ve been going. When we first arrived we were impressed with some of the upgrades. Easy checking shack and free pumpkin per site. But when we got to the sites we noticed that this is the first time the sites weren’t built up and maintained. The bathrooms were disgusting and appeared to be cleaned only once a day. Checking out was a three ring circus. There was no staff at the pump out to maintain order and keep traffic flowing. People parked were ever to empty their trash and block campers trying

We loved this campground! Clean, has most of what you need in their store, including Hershey Ice cream in their store. They are very close to Gettysburg.
The girls that work the office are very nice. There are some beautiful sites by the water or if like us, we wanted 50 amp, there are nice sites that provide that as well. Other campers were really nice as well. Very positive experience. We were here for 5 nights. If we are back here we will definitely stay here!

We've camped here for almost 20 years (in fact it was the only campground our camper ever saw) for many reasons. Mostly it was because the previous owners were always on site and knew all the regulars and we loved the security of someone in the guard Shack making sure whoever came in belonged there. The Campground was sold last year and low and behold the rates went wayyyy up and no one checking for site passes. We normally stay 7 days during labor day but had to cut back to 5 for next year because it cost me almost $200 more than 7...Sadly we'll be looking for another favorite campground.

I recently purchased a Class A motorhome and this weekend was my first camping venture. Being 65 now and never staying in a campground, I wasn't sure of what to expect. I must say, I enjoyed the new experience and look forward to my next trip. Gettysburg Campground was a great place to experience my first stay. The facility was very nice and staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I was at Site 13 which was convenient to restrooms, showers, dumpsters and the rec hall. My only complaint was that the site was very tight compared to the others. Once the awning was out, the chairs were right in

Pleasantly surprised! We normally camp in state and national parks so weren't sure what to expect with our first stay at a commercial campground, especially after some of the reviews. Camground and bathrooms were clean and well maintained; staff was friendly and helpful; and amenities like pool, mini golf and shuffleboard were great. Campground is close to all Gettysburg attractions s makes a great base camp for all the area has to offer.
While some reviews complained sites were too crowded, that wasn't our experience at site #45. In fact, we have been more crowded at some national or state parks
