Our family campground is located in historic Franklin County in the heart of the Cumberland Valley. We are conveniently located in Chambersburg, PA near Interstate 81 (6 mi) and Route 30 (1 mi). Twin Bridge Campground is nestled in an area surrounded by farmland, offering a country setting with a backdrop of the Tuscarora Mountains providing breathtaking sunsets.

Most campsites are along a creek running through a picturesque, wooded meadow where two streams - Back Creek & Dennis Creek - come together, requiring a Twin Bridge. From our central location, you can explore Chambersburg, Gettysburg, Shippensburg, and Hagerstown, MD. Campers can fish our stocked trout stream from their campsite, participate in organized activities for the whole family, and explore historic Franklin County.
Services
Twin Bridge Campground opened with 27 campsites in the summer of 1969 by Wilbur & Florence Mackey. At that time, the campground was a fully operational dairy farm and provided the opportunity for campers to watch agriculture in action. The Mackey family continued to operate the campground until the end of 2017.
Our deluxe cabins feature a full bathroom, full kitchen, and private bedroom. Fully furnished, we provide the essentials you need. You bring bedding and towels, we provide the rest. Features include a Twin over Full bunk bed, and 2 twin futons (sleeps 4-6). Air Conditioning/Heat, Household range and refrigerator, and tub/shower combo in the bathroom.
Visitors or extra persons are $2.50 per day. You may book now via our secure payment portal (convenience fee applies), or call the office to reserve over the phone. Once you arrive at the campground, please check in to our office before going to your site. If you have any questions, please call (717) 369-2216.

Campground is out in the country on a sometimes narrow and winding road. If we had arrived after dark, it would've been nearly impossible to make it to our site - had to travel through other sights with no road - all grass and unlit. We were fairly level, but only here for one night so no big deal. Very few sites on the creek itself. Laundry not centrally located so either walk a good distance partly uphill or unhook and drive up. I chose to handwash a few items since walking that distance is impossible for me and unhooking was not an option. Could use another dumpster better located. When I made

North East Lazy Daze Club held a rally at TBC, and owner Randy was beyond cooperative in making sure the rally was a success. Campground is clean with more than adequate bath houses. Campground well located to many PA. tourist attractions. Very attuned to family camping with activities on weekends. Their pump out stations are very well designed and makes emptying tanks a breeze. Highly recommend if you need a Campground near the Gettysburg/Chambersburg area.

We stayed here a month in May. They were able to place us on a seasonal site with full hookups. All other sites are electric and water only. The creek was beautiful and are able to play in it. Owners and staff were amazing and helpful. Lots of planned activities for kids on weekends.

A shallow, slow moving creek flows through campground except the "meadow". Kids love it; adults relax while watching kids. Lots of shade except in the wide open "meadow" which has multiple pull through sites. Level. Quiet; almost no golf cart traffic. Easy access. Grocery store and fuel close by.

My husband and I stayed a week at Twin Bridges. This was our first visit. We were in site 57, right by the bridge in front of a creek.  The site was lovely, with plenty of space to stretch out.
Our neighbors were not on top of our area. The grounds are well taken care of. The staff was polite, professional, friendly, and overall a pleasure to do business with.
Some have expressed negative thoughts about the ducks or geese roaming around being a bother to them. Twin bridges is home to ducks, geese, chickens, a rooster, or two. I spotted even a couple of turkeys. I can say they were there but

For first time visitors: office is located in the small building near the brick house which can be difficult to find. Campground sits in a quiet location near a creek in the country; however, on Saturdays they have planned activities at the pavilion where they blast music. If your going to camp for peace away from the loud world or to want to sit quietly and read a book then don’t get a site near there. We stayed in a 30 amp grassy site near the pavilion. Other than the loud music, we enjoyed dipping treats into the chocolate fondue fountain.
