Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) are typically performed prior to the acquisition of commercial or industrial properties to determine potential environmental concerns before the time of purchase. They can be conducted by the seller, buyer or required by the lender, as conditions warrant.
Our sampling staff routinely performs surface water, groundwater, and wastewater sampling services using a wide range of techniques, which include low-flow, traditional bailing, and submersible pumps.
We follows strict quality assurance protocol and quality control measures; and, we have close working relationships with a diverse network of certified laboratories that provides us with the options and capabilities to meet our client's analytical requirements.Whether it's long-term monitoring, permit sampling or sampling at any stage of remedial action, our staff has sampled hundreds of groundwater wells and surface waters.

AGES staff members have completed hundreds of projects involving the assessment, delineation and clean-up of impacted solid media, including soil, concrete, paint, sediment and non-porous surfaces. We are knowledgeable of the collection of concrete and paint chips for disposal, as well as the completion of template-based wipe sampling.
