Blood flow restriction (BFR) rehabilitation is the brief and intermittent occlusion of the blood flow in veins using a tourniquet while exercising. Using this technique you can exercise with significantly lighter weight while still creating a hypertrophy (growth) and strength response. Traditionally to get hypertrophy and a strength response in your muscles you would need to lift a heavy load.

Philipe is the best PT in the Vail Valley. He came highly recommended and he did not disappoint. He was instrumental in my recovery from ACL and Meniscus surgery. He’s very experienced and extremely well traveled. I look forward to my PT sessions with Philipe and JointWork 3 times per week. He pushes me to get stronger and has excellent knowledge of all the muscles, tendons, ligaments etc in the body.

I worked with Bill Lerch at Jointworx after my 2 knee replacements in 2020. I was familiar with them because my husband also rehabbed there after his knee replacement in 2019 and was impressed by the treatment that he received. The studio is spotless and they were always ready for me at the time of my appointments. Bill was extremely helpful and understanding and I highly recommend Bill and Jointworx!
