My professional background is in General Psychiatry, Psychopharmacology and Reproductive Psychiatry. I specialize in treating the adult and young adult population, and I have extensive experience in evaluation and management of anxiety, mood and attentional disorders, as well as issues concerning interpersonal relationships, identity and professional life.
After a thorough evaluation, I will conclude with recommendations regarding psychotherapy and/or psychiatric medications. We may continue to work together, setting goals and a schedule for future sessions. I will also make fitting referrals where or when appropriate in order to provide the best possible care.

In addition to general psychiatry I have extensive experience in the field of Reproductive Psychiatry, which means treating women at all stages of the life cycle including (but not limited to) pre-pregnancy and infertility, pregnancy, and the postpartum period.
If you already see a psychiatrist or therapist but you have questions specific to your current reproductive stage, I provide consultations in which I collaborate with your therapist or M.D., and might also include your OB/GYN, midwife, or other appropriate specialists to create a plan of care that is tailored to you.These consultations may also involve concerned family members or partners.

I have mixed feelings about this doctor. I saw her for about two years once I moved back to CA on referral from my former GP. My interactions with her in person and over email were drastically different. In person, she was friendly and seemed interested in my life. When the frequency of my visits decreased, she acted like I was her long lost friend or relative. Corresponding with Dr. Schultz via email was another story. I asked for a refill for one of my meds and she seemed put out by my request until I explained that the canister EXPLICITLY said "refills require authorization." To her
