Services
We are a full-service Pedorthic Lab that offers a variety of custom and noncustom products to health care providers across the country. All products are manufactured at our facility in Livermore Falls, Maine. This allows us to maintain the strict quality control standards that we have built our business on.
Whether you are simply in need of a new pair of shoes or you suffer from foot related problems, Pine Tree Orthopedic Lab is here to help you. We carry a wide selection of comfort shoes, many of which are designed to accomodate foot orthotics and other devices. When you visit our facility, you will be greeted by our friendly staff of highly trained footwear professionals.
One of the most important factors when choosing footwear is understanding what "Foot Type" a person has. This allows the trained professional to recommend products that will work well for that particular foot. At Pine Tree Orthopedic Lab, one of the many tools we use to assess a customers foot is the iStep SP5000 system.
Persons with Diabetes need to pay close attention to wearing proper footwear. Improper shoe fit can cause severe complications for those suffering from diabetes. That is why we recommend that all persons with diabetes have their shoe's fit by a professional fitter. We are happy to assist anyone with proper shoe fit however, we are no longer participating in the Medicare Therapeutic Shoe Program.
For those that require custom foot orthotics to address their specific needs, we manufacture them right here in our own lab. This cuts down on cost, time, and inconvenience if a device needs to be adjusted or altered. Following orders from your doctor, we will examine your foot to determine which type of orthotic would best suit you.

Today, was the first time I've visited your store and I was extremely surprised to find that you have a wide variety of name brand footwear in your store. Honestly. I thought your place was only for custom made footwear orders. Thank you for opening my eyes and I will be in when soon for a pair of new shoes.

Knowledgable staff. Selection of boots for men and women is good and they are different than what you would see at Cabela's or LL Bean. The owner is a former shoe factory owner as well as shoe maker so he knows how good boots are made. He has about 10 pedorithists working for him and all of them are also former shoe makers. He has shoes for men and women too, but I didn't look at those. He has people from Boston coming up to shop at his store! Guess word is getting around.

I had a grade 3 ankle sprain years ago and the pain just wouldn't go away. Every morning and again in the evening my ankle was tight and walking was miserable. I tried physical therapy and made some devices to do exercises at home, nothing seemed to help. I was finally prescribed custom orthotics and was sent to another part of the hospital where… they quoted me close to $500. I wasn't able to pay that amount and had nearly given up when I decided to call Pinetree. They were nearly $200 less at Pinetree so I saved the money and ordered a pair there. I FINALLY FOUND RELIEF!! They worked wonders
